Or, have a "feedback" section of the site where Advisor members could post feedback for different departments ( a la Ebay?).........no money involved but a hard hitting, positive or otherwise, response from us that is available to all at HO to see and hopefully, respond to. It would also allow us less-active posters to us this facility whilst keeping our preferred lower involvement/ profile. This would for example, put the wooden venitians dept squarely in the frame as being in need of serious attention. Anyway just a thought............. I suppose this makes me a mainstream "poster" now.......................Damnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!! .......................................................................................................................................... Actually Kaka' ... this idea is well worth considering for this site!!!! Each 'department' or 'individual' at H/O could have a 'Star' rating. How about it Motters & gang what say you??!!!!

Its an excellent idea, I don't know if this site has the capabilities to do this though. However it could be done via a link to a private web site. Mottors would have to take the lead on this one. Red

i have to say that I never have anything but good help from Dawn. I think that thi8s award idea is abit patronising to people who in the majority do a great job. remember they can only work within the constraints of the system. Sorry red I dont agree with this idea. Everyone starts moaning about the people when most are relly quite helpful I would think it would be better for agents not to rant when they have a problem usually most will be more than helpful.

I have just fitted 4 wooden venetians that were delivered this week. Ordered two weeks ago. They were all wrapped like parcels in bubble wrap inside the boxes (including the valances). All were exactly as ordered, including one 'special order' valance, and the right number of brackets were included and there was no damage. I fitted them, they all worked beautifully. End result one very happy customer, and I was out in a little over an hour. This is how it should be!

I HAVE FRETTED OVER MAKING THIS POSTING BUT HERE GOES.. Yesterday I went to fit the 2 wooden vens I mentioned on this site 2/3 weeks ago that I had ordered for an old client . In short, they were perfect , undamaged, all the right fittings, special length valance was perfect, and they were both up and paid for in 40 minutes. I was as shocked as much as the old couple were delighted. HILLARYS - Can I congratulate you on getting it right!! ( Coming from me, that is more than a compliment!) If it had to take a website run by a bunch of cynical agents to get it turned round then so be it. Without being too self-congratulatory, I have to say that if our collective voices had not been heard as one then you would still be wandering along in the old Hillarys fog of denial, lies and spin. Keep on getting things right like this and you will not believe the cooperation which can be got by you, for nothing, from the sales/fitting force on whom the whole operation depends. I know I keep on about stolen commission and unwarranted clawbacks, and the fact that every office junior as the appparent god-given right to ensure that customers are over compensated for perceived wrongs ensuring that we suffer deductions, but this matter should now be very high on the Improvement Agenda. Stating at a regional meeting that " Clawback are being addressed and it will be in your favour" may well mean that "No more unwarranted clawbacks without pre-advice IN THE FUTURE. But that will not be good enough. The matter of Stolen Commission especially over the pre-Christmas delivery debacle, should not even be a matter for discussion 8 weeks later now at the end of February. It should have been sorted weeks ago. Can we have a date for settlement of this issue, in the same manner as you signaled the sorting of wooden venetians? ?? The ball is in your court and a positive result is there for the grasping. AGENTS NEVER ASKED FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE, JUST TRY TO SUPPLY US THE "POSSIBLE" AND WE CAN ALL MAKE THIS THE UNBEATABLE BLIND OPERATION IT SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. Bear ( The one who knows)

Hi Bear..... I have been told by a reliable source that although Mellisa had said that she was dealing with the issue of Clawbacks, she had in fact done nothing at all. BUT...... it IS now being dealt with, and Hillarys accept that the practice IS illegal. I also understand that we will get all the Clawed Back commission refunded. Every single claim will have to be looked at seperately.... mine have already been checked, and 80% of my claims were in my favour. (Although i will dispute that - as I believe the figure to be 100%).... So, can i suggest when you all get time, to go through your commission statements and make a list of all the incidents where you think commission was unfairly taken off you...... the amount, and the reasons why (if you know??) Hillarys solicitors are dealing with it, and there is no loophole for them to find. IT IS ILLEGAL.

Are we talking about clawed back commission after the commission was paid.
And
Are we talking about if we sold a blind for £100 and it was faulty, so rather than do a dor offered 10% off which the customer agreed to. And we only got paid commission on the £90.

We get commission on sales we achieve. If Hillarys give the discount, for whatever reason, after we have agreed a price with the customer...then we don't lose any money. If you ( the agent) give the discount...then you lose the commission.

So its not the price we agreed at the point of sale, i.e. when we took the order.
l have also had customer care phone me up and ask if l would agree to a 25% discount for faulty blinds. lts not a discount that l gave, but did agree to, to save a dor.
