Wheres our carrott then. Dont we only see the stick. Comments like if you dont do it i will have to advertise for new advisors in your area, and i'm increasing your availability its only you thats got a problem etc. Sorry to sound negative but its reality. Owl This is why I propose we should take the initiative and show that we can do things collectively and out of good things come more good things. Hillary have already shown some movement on our points of view so lets build on the momentum. Red

I'm with owl on this one.
Anyway its a non starter! Theres not enough of us who bother to post on here, let alone give £1.
So far Dawns on £3, hardly any kind of incentive.
Nice idea though Red, however I think its a little premature. Lets see some real improvements from the other side first, and a few more than 20 advisers posting.

It would not be done via the web site. It would be communicated via direct mail from head office explaining that it would be a adviser initiative, so everyone would get to know and either sign the consent form or not. If not enough sign then its a no goer, but to be honest apathy seems to be one of the main hurdles with advisor's, something which we accuse Hillary's of but we as a whole are probably guilty of as well. The man they call "NoNails"--he say "OK!" £1 is well worth it. Thinks What would Rishmann have to do to earn £8oo from us.. If he wants to then the opportunity is there for him. If he gets our approval, then frankly our work is done!! ( Now that'll be the day---?) But I will throw my hat in the ring Nonails( Head of cynicism, mistrust, and " Dont trust the B8888rs further than 87mm--and thats too far..!) Nonails Good try for starting this!!

Thanks Nonails Now I do believe we are getting somewhere when I get a positive from yourself, I expected a thumbs down but maybe the tide is turning after all. I have had mostly positives on this with a few negatives and a few cautious not sures but all in all it seems to be getting good feedback. Red

Bear agrees with Nonails---Lets show them we care and want it to work---Honest we really do!!! Despite that Weekly newsletter this morning, which took a lot of ink to say a very little I am with the guy who posted that the Quarterly meeting had better be GOOD, but I fall short of Dodgybrackets idea of a riot if we dont get some consideration on the Commission stolen because they c***ed up on pre Xmas deliveries I think a fair trial followed by a hanging would be more in order....Suggestions? Bear. ( The one whose honey pot was pillaged by Hillarys--and you know what happens when you pillage a Bears honey-pot??)

Sorry, I'm with owl on this one. We don't get paid a bonus if we do our jobs right. However, I believed the company should be running a scheme for its staff, with possible different levels of "gift" for those doing above expected work or care. If Hillarys were a great employer, they should have a scheme running now. With above good service being nominated either by Hillarys staff internally, agents, or in fact by letter of thanks from a customer.
As for the payments, agents all have different levels of income and contact with HO, so why a blankeyt value. And if you think I may be bit of a meanie, I have in the past acknowledged HO staff, with a small token of thanks. Given personnally.
So no to agents funding this, and I doubt you would get many to agree to it, but a big yes to encourage the company to take this on board.

Here is a positive note We are always moaning about the way we are treated as advisers and the way things go for us with admin and other things, but on the other hand are praising other people for the service they give us, the advisors. So lets give something back as an incentive. My proposal is this. There are over 800 advisors out there; if each one of us had just £1 deducted from our monthly income we could all nominate one or two people from any part of head office for the service they have provided to us, fsms included. This would give that person a £800 bonus gift from us to them. This could be given to an individual or a department and split up. Each advisor would be sent a voting slip from head office, which they would fill in, and forward to a appointed advisor to collate and then announce the person or department that had won it for the month and be issued the payment direct from head office. This would be a great incentive for everybody at head office to give us a better service whilst not being a great amount individually to pay out. Please give me all your feedback on this and if it gets a green light I will go deeper in to it. Lets take the lead and show some initiative. Red Dawn in commissions name should be first out of the hat!! Cracking idea,,, I could run with that. If I got paid the dosh I earned that Hillarys stole from me, when they gave unrequested huge discounts to customers whose deliveries they missed pre-Xmas, I would probably doulbe it up to £2.00 Any more takers Dodgybracket im with you dodgybracket on this one. they put themselves up for the jobs they should take the package that comes with it

As service improved to us, the advisors we would be in control of how much a bounus we paid and could quite easily up it with a demacratic vote. It is a scheme I used to run with my last employer and it was very successful. Moral went through the roof and service was sky high. After all 50p a week out of your commision would hardly be noticed but a bonus to an individual of over £800 is a holiday for two so come on GIVE ME THE GREEN LIGHT EVERYONE. Red Red no, more i think about it, why should i be paying someone to do a job properly that they should be doing properly anyway.. Morale, what about our bloody morale, get that fixed 1st then i might just think about it.........

My opinion These people get paid to do a job, and should do it to the best of their ability, if they dont then action i assume would follow. We on the other hand only get paid on what we sell and fit. But if the blinds are not delivered on time/made on time OR DOR then we have to wait for our money until these issues are eventually sorted out and customer is happy. None of these issues are the advisors fault but we get penalised. They get their money on time every time and with no deductions. It is the advisors who should be getting a incentive bonus for each DOR we correct on site etc. How about .. we get a pound for every minute we are waiting for someone to answer our phonecall so we can raise a DOR ;D Would £1 a month to help moral and improve the service to us, the advisors really hurt you that much Owl. I can quarentee, once this was up and running you would recoup your £1 dozens of times over, Hillarys staff would be more helpful to us and everything would start to run for the better. Red cant believe im reading this, us paying them to do their job, wrong way round RED. who are you anyway Red
