???why is it that some self generated leads /orders when due for fitting are not added to the SAM diary, it just seems that it is only h/office generated calls that are included in the diary. over the next 3 weeks I have at least 10 fittings booked that are not on SAM so to get over this problem I carry a separate diary otherwise I would miss my own fittings.Diary maintenance is very good at emailing when there is no date put on the faxed copies but they don't use them when they are. Its no wonder there is so many order queries

have exactly the same problem, have asked questions re the reason, but no one seems to know and no one does anything about it. Exactly the same with all other problems. Total lack of management.

BEZBOZNY, when doing company leads, can we PLEEEEEEASE have a contact name! It's so embarrassing going to a company reception and saying you have an appointment but don't who with. Sometimes, a bit of a name appears in SAM, but not on the printed sheet. I had 1 recently saying "Lawrence", but that could have Lawrence something or other, or MR/MRS/MISS Lawrence.
Haven't seen a posting from you recently, hope head office aren't leaning on you

Dear Advisors, I am alive and well ;D. Having worked tremendously hard for the last year or two to help improve things for my department, the company and you lovely people I have finally been pushed too far. I have been ticked off for not adhering to the chain of communication, in other words not letting them filter out the message the top people need to hear and been reprimanded for not asking for help when I need it!!! I have decided to start looking for another job, the other person I work with that was really trying to push the department and company forward has decided to move on too. We have been docked wages, had no praise for our efforts particularly over the last few months of stress and been thrown so many slaps in the face I/we have had enough. So, if anyone needs a fitter or has the need for someone who's not afraid to upset people to get a job done PM me for a full run down of my career history and qualifications. Until I move on, keep firing the questions at me, I will always do my best to help out. As for things, expect them to get a little worse for you all after we leave, sorry but I have had enough There are people in the company that care, there really are. I have been reading this forum for a while now. I would love to be able to get enough people to listen to the ideas for improvements that are required, but my time has come to an end, on to the next chapter. I will update you when I have decided what I am doing next .

There was chatter on this forum a few days ago about how soon will SAM replace us?? Are we really necessary, I ask? Today I have been on a shout, old dear , switched on, showed me the bathroom, one roller only needed, left her the book while I measured up. Then asked her which colour, so I could get to the price page and she said " Oh you don't need to do that dear, it'll be £39. Sorry said I! "When I rang up they told me the price when I gave them the measurements (in inches!)" That would be for Clouds I added "No its for any colour I was told." says she Grumpy husband then appears" Aye it is £39 per blind lad, none of your funny stuff with me , if you please? Listen up And he played the recording of the call to Sillarys THERE WAS NO MENTION OF CLOUDS WHEN PRICE WAS GIVEN. So £39 roller ordered--in Price table 3 should be £92.00!! When he asked switchboard, "How do I pay?", he was told " Payment is due in full on fitting, pay the fitter, he'll give you a receipt" I asked for a deposit, as per the screen, and he told me to bu%%er off--so I did!! His friendly salutations ringing in my ears.." Shower of bl***y conmen etc etc.." " Oh Edmund keep your voice down" How does all this marry up with " Lead Revenue" or "Lead Value" or whatever the latest buzz word is amongst the management( to whom all praise, longlife and salutations be always foremost in our daily thoughts and deeds) There are times ...... Where is the Samaritans tel no? NoNails

Nonails I've lost count of the times now that customers tell me they've had a price over the phone ... given 'Price beater' price for any blind ( even 'woodens' when they used to be good but cost more ) ... AND... told they would get a further 50% off when the Adviser would call. Had one customer who was recently told 3 for £99 on any blind, any colour &any size with .... you've guessed it .... 50% off on top. £7.26 commission any one? ??

Oh dear............can you send all errors and problems through via email to CLCTeamLeaders@hillarys.co.uk the customer number and a brief description of what the problem is. This can then be looked in to and any necessary steps can be taken. As for the customer recording the call, very illegal and certainly not acceptable, but we are getting it soon so we can record calls and will be able to deal with problems like misquoting alot more effectively. Which is good news for you and good news for us

I didn't go on one particular call today ... the reason why, I'll leave for another day!!!!
Although I'm not one to do this very often!!
However, I had a call from CLG asking why.
When I explained the reason she started shouting & ranting at me & threatening that if I have an appointment cancellation next time that she wouldn't tell me!!!
NOTHING NEW THERE THEN!!!!!!!
I suppose that this is the same person that tells my customers that I'll be there at XX o'clock sharp with my full range of fabrics especially in whites & creams that can be made into any shape ( including curved. round or triangular venetians & rollers etc. all at 99 for £3 with an extra 50% off on the day & that they can use a discount voucher on top with a full cash refund if I can't give them what they want whilst I'm running around their house naked except for my trainers & a 'dickie bow'!!!.
HOLD THAT THOUGHT!!!!!!!
