I didn't go on one particular call today ... the reason why, I'll leave for another day!!!! Although I'm not one to do this very often!! However, I had a call from CLG asking why. When I explained the reason she started shouting & ranting at me & threatening that if I have an appointment cancellation next time that she wouldn't tell me!!! NOTHING NEW THERE THEN!!!!!!! I suppose that this is the same person that tells my customers that I'll be there at XX o'clock sharp with my full range of fabrics especially in whites & creams that can be made into any shape ( including curved. round or triangular venetians & rollers etc. all at 99 for £3 with an extra 50% off on the day & that they can use a discount voucher on top with a full cash refund if I can't give them what they want whilst I'm running around their house naked except for my trainers & a 'dickie bow'!!!. HOLD THAT THOUGHT!!!!!!! Ah Greenpesto, great minds think alike, you wear the same uniform as me then. Red

Could this be the start of the HILLARYS FULL MONTY TEAM? I'll sell tickets, but only if I don't have to watch ;D ;D I hope you've got the Hillarys logo on your dickie bow, otherwise you're improperly dressed!

This is funny ......
Appointment today , SAM diary says 'roller blind in OTHER room' , so i arrive on time , asked in , declinded a cuppa! as i was under pressure of time .
Customer (irish chap) says no blinds required in his bungalow , but needs 2 in his camper van!
Well this is a first for me ! But i do not decline at this point.
Out we go , i thought to his garage or parking lot , but nope he says the camper is 'just down the road' and i should follow him in his car!
Mmmmm by now i am worried , but what the hell for a sale !
Well i followed him , and followed him , and eeer followed him - For d**n 12 miles! Into a deserted caravan pitch ( old farm yard! ) where we viewed a ruddy great 02 redg american style camper/mobile home on wheels!
Checked out 2 X 15mm venetian blinds that were shot ( cords Fooked! ) , measured up for 2 new in 'ash' . Priced at £99 each . 'oh no noo nooo! - far too much' Can't believe all this and no sale!
Bid a quick retreat , back to my car and drove away swearing like hell!
Back on to SAM - entered 'incorrect info given' and felt like i wanted to punch the lights out of CLG !
Just goes to show they will book appointments with out much clarification ! Wasted 1 hour of my time and 25 miles (£2.50 petrol). Thanks a bunch!
This blind business can be mega cr*p !

Had a lead in diary for last Tuesday evening. Fortunately I rang customer before driving 15 miles to her, to be told by her husband she's working late and had phoned in that morning to cancel the appointment. Nobody told me - nothing new there you may think. Well, having re-arranged the appointment myself, I went there today, Sunday. Oh she says, they rang back yesterday, said they're just picking up the messages. I left a message canceling last Tuesday, they rang back Saturday to see if I'd like to re-book. What ever happened to "we must see a lead in 3 days or it goes cold"? Obviously they're so busy at Colwick, it takes 4 days to answer a message. I wonder how many others of us have been to empty houses this week because of this

I myself have had "2 not ins" this past week. About an hour later after visiting one and leaving a note this customer had disappeared completely off my SAM for that day, and no signs of a re-book.
