Ive also had 2 appointments in my diary this week for previous customers, who looked totaly dumfounded when i turned up, as neither of them had booked a second appointment. I too have had 3 of these in the past week or so. And new people that dont know anything about me going. Very strange! There must be a ghost in the machine. Red

Turned up on a Sunday afternoon, customer said didn't ask for an appointment and doesn't want one, he justed wanted a brochure. I sent details to Rudie at H/O 2 weeks ago but have had no response. Strange because I thought all these calls were recorded now.

My last appointment yesterday, 4th all week, on my SAM for 6-9, knocked on door to be told another agent had called at 4pm. So not only are you getting false leads, they are making sure someone attends by double booking agents. It's a conspirancy, a conspirancy I say, I say a conspirancy!
Did e-mail CLG at 8pm, and Gemma, replied almost by return at 8:45pm, appologised and said she will look into the reason it happened. At least that's something. Submitted claim to FSM claiming ex gtratia payment to cover my costs, but I expect what that answer will be.

Disappearing appointments??? Over the last couple of weeks I have had appointments disappearing from my diary as fast as they are appearing. Wots goin on? For instance.. Yesterday I had 5 booked for tomorrow.....just looked again, and am down to 3.... Are people phoning up making enquiries being pushed into an appointment they don't really want and then cancelling? Or are they indeed false calls to make the figures look better.....

Had the same on Friday. In the AM slot I had a fit booked, and in the remaining slot was an appointment. I thought that this had changed in name. On Thursday night I read the e-mailed appointment list and that same slot had 2 other appointment names cancelled. (They appear at the foot of the days list).

I'm also getting leads booked into dates I'm not actually available for!!!!!
Not on 'days off' but on 'full' fitting days!!!
I've also noticed that more leads are coming through with specified times or with tighter availability e.g Evening appointment between 7 - 9 or 8 - 9 etc.
I really can't be arse'd with this after a day on the road. Evenings are either 6 - 9 or the customer should find another time slot. These types of customers don't generally buy either .... just mess you around!!!!

I've also had more cancellations recently and wonder if it's from the Ideal Home Show. I've had a couple of people comment about the high pressure to book. Could be they are making the appointment to get off the stand then going home and canceling. Look on the bright side - at least they're canceling before you drive all that way and knock on the door

Pressured leads always have a high 'fall-out' rate.
These types of leads in the Double Glazing/Kitchen & Time Share business all suffer from it, as do the number of 'Not-ins, Cancelled orders & Default payments on balances.
It's funny how we are moving closer to this type of selling!!!!!!!!! .... Hillarys won't admit it though!!!!!
Look at the technique we are expected to use when selling roof blinds .... ALL DOUBLE GLAZING SALES METHODS!!!!

I have just started using SAM, can you tell me is it just me or is there a problem with the Hillarys SAP database. Orders that I have processed and not specified a fit date (i.e. I will call on delivery to me to arrange a mutually convenient time) are then once delivered to me booked into my calendar in the first free slot !!! All feedback would be appreciated as I want to see if it is just me or the system, and if its the system then it needs changing.
Thanks

On SAM you cannot process an order without specifying a fit date. SAM automatically specifies a date 2 weeks from the sale, but this can be overwritten. If you wish to arrange your own fit dates on reciept of the orders then just specify fit dates on days when you dont normally work i.e. Sundays

I've also had a number appts disappear. As suggested I also think it's the Ideal Home Show. Don't think it is necessarily high pressure sales, they are being offered 10% off to make appointment there and then, probably get back home and either find in their diary they are doing something else or decide can't afford. May be they are not all disappearing but some may just be being moved. Whatever, as long as they come out of my diary to save a wasted journey I'm happy. Had a number of good leads from show so far.

Its only when I went to fit a few days later I realized What had happened. I do hope this is not a new Hillary's, balls up the advisor's plans initiative. Please tell me this is a one off otherwise I will have to put them all down to be fitted 25th December so that customer will question it. Red
