I have stopped sending dor returns . When I did send them diligently they never struck them off the weekly sheet. Now I have ovrer 3 pages of A4 of returns dating back to 1999--and of course as with most things "Sillary", no one gives a buggaire. Just more of my A4 paper to waste so I never even print them off --just delete it.
Think its time for a car-boot sale folks???

Found out the other day while raising another DOR that you can tell them not to do a returns number because they are going straight into bin, and this does not show on tracking report. I can only imagine this could be done on say new louvres / weights etc. but not say a wood blind. me thinks Glen

Any body having problems still with those lovely wooden venetians. Ive Dor 6 in the last two weeks and its p---ing me off, Im having to keep going back and finding more space in my gararage to put their cheap crap. The driver said hes not seen so many wooden venetians going back to hq and hes worried about the weight ( maybe they should provide us all with a skip ) and yes i am p-ssed off . I have worked for hillarys for 6 years and went full time last year. Im no better off than when i was doing two jobs ,Have done all the training ,roof specialist ect... but am earning less this year , No leads, Wife now working full time ,then its constant threats, from toss pot area managers who couldnt do the job because it would kill them ( over weight problem ) .Sorry am i appearing to be negative or is reality of the situation of working for F--k all affecting my judgement? May be its time i found a new cowboy outfit to wear for the new year

Did a £1400 quote for wood ven. last week, and left HOPING they wouldn't order, even though I'm 30% down on last November. It's pretty sad selling stuff you have no confidence in

I complained, but guess what ... "it's only you, everyone else thinks they're great". After 2 more fits, I asked to be removed from roof blind list and was told "Don't worry, everyone complained, we're going back to old system this week. Guess the FSM manual hasn't been updated for many years!

Amberley, Not a golfer myself, but what's more important to you? A one-off £500 commission or being accepted at your club. I'm mean, it's not as though you're going to gain any recommendations from them. Know which I'd choose, but it's a real shame you have to.

It would seem that the company's approach to quality control regarding wooden venetians and the complaints and DOR's received is to return to supplying full size velcro tabs! It beggars belief that 'cost cutting' involved cutting velcro in half, when the real issues are/were not addressed at all. I breathed a sigh of relief when the 'new' wooden venetians were launched, but now they are worse than ever. In almost every case manufacturing is taking over two weeks, some orders shown on the tracking report as 'missing part - due date unknown' with no explanation as to the problem. Most require DOR'ing due to them being inoperable, and are frequently supplied without valances or brackets. Frankly I am astonished that most of blinds are sent out, but this can only be down to their not being any form of quality control in place.

Anyone know how to get returned blinds removed from tracking report? I keep sending the report back with returned blind, fully marked up showing what's been returned this week and in the past, but it appears to go straight in the H/O bin.
Delivery list is getting as bad. Apparently, this Thursday I'm going to receive the blinds I fitted and invoiced before last weeks delivery. Now I know I'm good, I just didn't realise how good. And another 4 blinds and I got last week, appears to still be WORK IN PROGRESS. Then again, so is another job, scheduled for van run 22/12/2003. And still H/O wonder why we take so little notice of their various reports.

Take em down the Car Boot mate, and get some readies for your trouble. Amazing how Cherry Blossom mid tan shade brings a scratched wooden ven back to snuff!!! The tracking report is as accurate as the " Advisor Monthly Self-Management Report" I had in the past month Average Blind Value £78 Lead effect £203 Average blinds per order 1.98 How does that come about? ? NEVER TRUST ANYTHING WRITTEN DOWN THAT COMES FROM HILLARYS.. ITS ALL GARBAGE......
