Here is a positive note We are always moaning about the way we are treated as advisers and the way things go for us with admin and other things, but on the other hand are praising other people for the service they give us, the advisors. So lets give something back as an incentive. My proposal is this. There are over 800 advisors out there; if each one of us had just £1 deducted from our monthly income we could all nominate one or two people from any part of head office for the service they have provided to us, fsms included. This would give that person a £800 bonus gift from us to them. This could be given to an individual or a department and split up. Each advisor would be sent a voting slip from head office, which they would fill in, and forward to a appointed advisor to collate and then announce the person or department that had won it for the month and be issued the payment direct from head office. This would be a great incentive for everybody at head office to give us a better service whilst not being a great amount individually to pay out. Please give me all your feedback on this and if it gets a green light I will go deeper in to it. Lets take the lead and show some initiative.
This has already been posted on the Wooden venitian quality thread but thought I would start it on a new thread. Send me a private message or post direct and let me know your feedback.

Its not a bad idea.
But a little unfair.
We donot come into contact with the people in the Call Centre who take the initial lead.
We have diffrent van drivers who give us information.
Good idea though, and I was sent an email about it which has enabled me to get in on diffrent computer.
So you might have the pleasure of my company a bit more often

But (i dont know if I dare say this!!) who the hell gives us any recognition for doing a good job. now i know it has to start from somewhere, but come on, they are getting paid to do there job. if they need this sort of incentive to the job properly, then they shouldn't be doing it. I fully agree with the sentiments of the idea, but come on, why dont Hillarys put aside some of their millions of profits, to us guys working 14 or 15 hours a day to keep them going, even a small bonus would be appreciated.. (i will now take cover )

(i will now take cover ) This is precisely the reason for doing this. To show Hillarys that insentives do work. Play devils advacat just for a second. Imagine what Dawn in commisions is thinking if she reads any of this or any body that would be nominated. There positivity would go sky high, they would be willing to help more and we in return for a measly £1 a month, we would start to see a more helpful service. It all has to start somewhere so lets throw the opening bet in a see where it goes. If it does not work out then it can be cancelled. As I said before, we would be in control of who gets it. Start to think more positive and you would be amazed what can happen. Its a well know fact that if you believe yourself to be a looser then a looser you will be. I myself am going to win the lottery tonight. ;D Red

Why oh why are hillarys not mentioning this forum . Ideal chance was on todays weekly mailer!
If this forum is not mentioned by FSM at the next team meeting , then surely this suggests hillarys do not back it!
If hillarys can not support this forum with more enthusiasm then you have to think why not?
It is now possible that the company will now initiate thier own advisor forum? where to sign in you must state your agency detail.
I find it a hard pill to swallow that 430 people here are dis- regarded from thier 'spin'

Red...don't let the b**st**rds grind you down, just run with your idea a bit longer.
Some good points have been made on both sides of the argument, but most postings are drifting off at a tangent and using it as a means of complaining about something totally unrelated.
Firstly, the matter of advisor incentives, commission levels, service call / DOR payments, bonuses, etc is all down for discussion under a working party set up as a result of the seminars. The company are well aware of our thoughts on these issues and will be reviewing the whole payment / rewards set up over the coming months - so give them some time on this and don't let it cloud your judgement on other issues.
Regarding Red's idea - which I support in principle if it is workable - why not suggest that whatever we contribute, Hillarys match it, doubling the incentive - so the advisors nominate their winner but Hillarys implicitly acknowledge that somebody who is supporting us must also be doing a good job for the company and deserves recognition.

Hi Hereticus They are not grinding me down, not yet anyway. Despite the few negatives I am also getting direct personal messages in support of the idea and also saying they will not post on the board because of the negitive feedbacks. It seems to be the same people rubbishing everything that everyone is trying to do. Pheraps we should have two forums. One for the doers and positives and one for the moaners and negatives. Red

The forum is to air peoples thoughts not characterize into moaners, positive thinkers and all that crap. we can all slag people of in many ways can't we. Glen

Question:
Why has Jesus got a teddy? Why is the pram sounding negative? How long have you known Jesus? Are you telling him off ... or are you saying it nicely? Has the pram always been positive in the past? Are you telling Jesus what the Forum is for or are you telling this to the pram?

I have to Agree ! I cant believe Red that advisors are pm ing you and not doing so on here because of FEAR of negativity. As already stated there is only about 20 of us posting, and most including myself want to share our views on this forum. I can see your intention, but do not agree with the method. Please everyone keep posting your thoughts, they all count, negative or positive ;D owl.
