lets all stop using sam............. go back to paper till they sort this mess out. i to have had more dors since sam came into being. Strange, as I've had far less DORs since using SAM. Just think of all those data keying errors e.g. L instead of R, 57 instead of 75, wrong day or month in fit date. I've even had line 1 dimensions with line 2 controls, and line 2 dimensions with line 1 controls - just to balance things. Most "special instructions" were missed, plus numerous "fax is blurred, we can't read ......." or "blind out of spec" queries. I wouldn't want to go back to paper orders ............... but it might not be a bad idea to do so for a month as a protest against the stupid payment and fines changes

as i understand it most directors have been told that the issues and concerns re the May update mailer have been resolved and that advisors are accepting them, with only a few voices of dissent. perhaps the results of this poll could be emailed to every director. if individuals were to email them directly the message would be stronger.

GVM!
The problem with SAM is that it is under-developed for our needs. It should have been worked on for a few more years before going national.
I found that when using it, I spend more time inputting or correcting errors or getting it to accept out of spec requests that I spent less time talking to the customer.
The result was fewer sales, & visits that took 3x the time to do.
It's bad enough that due to 'stupid offers' I'm already working 3x harder for 3x less money.
Since reverting to paper orders, my AOV & Conv. rates have gone up!
I'm also back to economical 'sales call' times.
FUNNY THAT!!!!

I maybe next or any of us so how would you feel if it was you, we have to stand up to be counted at some point so why not now when its starting before they owe us more bloody money. so from Monday morning for me SAM doesn't work anymore until this is resolved. I will still do calls but on paper only. from a personal point of view at the moment I feel I have been nuts on and the prats are thinking about rubbing it in,and I'm nearly at breaking point as I think alot of us are,so as I have said join me or not I don't really give a toss it s only our future. ?? MONDAY IS SAM-LESS DAY this is not a threat its a promise

This is a poll to get some feedback as to whether advisor's agree or disagree with the new dor and service payment structure. Hopefully enough advisor's will vote to give a fairly true idea of the situation so I can take it further. The vote is totally anonymous so dont worry. Please note, once you have voted you will not be able to vote again but can come back to see how the poll is developing. Click on the blue service payments and dors title above this posting to go to the poll. I will leave the poll open for another 2 weeks as some are still voting and others on holiday, then it will close and results sent. Red __________________________________________ Mines in green.....

Re multiple dors I have just tried to claim for 4 orders with multiple dors, I was told by the service centre it would have to be cleared by the FSM this was e-mailed to her over 1 week ago and I I am still waiting for a reply. To top it all I have received my commision statement and I find that I am only being paid £26 instead of £641. I am still bloody waiting for a reply with the reason from them as well. It seems to me that Hillarys are doing their utmost to hold onto any money that they can at all costs. They are bloody quick to take it off us but very reluctant to pay us what we are due to

Heres a good one Took an order on Monday for a venetian blind. Unknown to me customer had a new sill and tiles fitted the very next day but luckily she realized the blind would not fit now. So she spent the next 2 days trying to reach Hillary's to put it on hold. Eventually she rang the H/O number out of the Thompson local only to be told she needed to contact customer services on the free phone number. Only after refusing to spend another day doing this did they put her straight through and she just managed to put it on hold. I have now remeasured but what if she had not got through that day. Would I have got a miss measure fine despite the customer trying to get through or would they have blamed the customer for not telling them. One thing is for sure, they would not have accepted responsibility. The lady said she was not impressed with The system we have and would be going elsewhere in future. And I thought the whole idea of taking our diary's off us was to give live answering? ? Red

Hi Aries I am hoping to get a few more votes in yet but certainly it will be going to those that count. Just wish the response was better. At the last look 112 votes had gone on, only just over 1/5th off advisor's on the forum and less than 1/10 of the overall advisor's. The more votes the better the understanding. Red How many advisors, actually earn ALL their income from Hillarys work ? Are there only a hundred or so who are full time. maybe the rest dont vote, 'cos theyre not bothered 'cos they have another income, and Hillarys are not worth the hassle. Dont know why more people dont post. maybe they they think all the moaning is just going around in circles, getting us nowhere.... I dont bloody know. maybe they are all planning a life without hillarys, because of the hassle and grief.....puzzler in it.

Poll update!!!So far it seems that ALL the Advisors are in agreement about the unfairness of the DOR/Error charges!!! It's just the H/O staff that have voted are not in agreement with each other!!!! I wonder if it was JR that voted that he didn't 'understand it all' !!!!
