Like me you probably received notice to allow an extra 7 days for delivery of woodens. This i have passed on to customers. What happens, they arrive on the next van. I know i shouldnt complain. Also what a pain the new brown vertical cord weights are to undo. Just more cheap components to work with.

Instead of having to waste time pushing the metal weight in just had to slip top off and fit on cord. Had no trouble undoing them

Had no trouble undoing them Hi BLINDWIZARD you were obviously luckier then me as all 4 of the metal weights were inserted but not pushed down. This obviously stopped me pushing in the side release tabs . Instead i had to force a little screwdriver in to push the weight down further. Either way old or new we shouldnt have to be doing it, especially not in front of a customer.

Also what a pain the new brown vertical cord weights are to undo. Just more cheap components to work with. It may be the weight is stopping the side tabs being pushed in; try holding the weight and sharply banging it down on a hard surface, such as your tool box. This is usually enough to move the weight further down inside the plastic outer cover, allowing the tabs to be pushed in. My biggest concern on the three vertical rails are no uniformity. White rails have skeleton carriers, pear weights, white chain/cord. Beige rails have solid carriers, pear weight, and beige chain/cord Brown rails have solid carriers, square weights and wite cord with brown plastic moulded balls. If you need to use more than one rail colour, those changes stand out, to me anyway. Agree with the sentiments though, we shouldn't have to do it, along with all the other crap that has crept in over the years.

Yep my weights were pushed down just popped out the tops by pushing the tabs. Hopefully your were unlucky compared to me being lucky and they'll come like mine in the future, save a few more minutes on fix time
