Yesterday I recieved the following text message on my SAM:
"From 1st June changes will be made to the price you pay for using Vodafone Live! and the mobile internet. Please call 19075 free on your mobile to find out more"
Having listened to the message it appears there will be a £2-00 per Mb charge with a minimum 5p charge per internet connection.
I have had it "sugested" to me that we should disable GRPS on the device and send orders via broadband at the end of each day.
PS. Has anyone yet come to the end of their first 2 yr contract? Mine is up next month and I have been told to carry on using the same device on the same contract

Didn't even get that message. From what ive been told we are getting a new SAM device anytime so maybe we will find out then.

My 2 years were up 2 months ago. I phoned IT & asked for an upgrade & got a brand new smaller handset! The old battered one went on ebay

How do i hook up my SAM to broadband and connect to Hillarys please? After you have installed ActiveSync click on "Options" and then on "Rules". At the bottom make sure that your connection is set at "The Internet" Thts all there is to it

I've actually left Hillarys and also my vodafone contract was just over 2 years old. What I have done is cancelled my contract and applied to vodafone for a Pay As You Go sim card. I have another mobile but use the pda as an organise so thought might as well have a 2nd phone facility as doesn't cost anything unless I use it. Don't think you should do that if you are using sam as call/data charges probably more expensive.
For people who who are over the 2 years be aware that if you request a new phone it means you are committed to another contract period. In fact when I went to cancel vodafone first tried to say I had another 6 months to go because I had the pda replaced after 6 months because it was fault, told them no way and they backed down.
One more bit of advice regarding dealing with Vodafone, when I tried to cancel and also had the discussion about the extra 6 months they said I had to go through Hillarys as it was a special deal and the contract was via Hillarys. I pointed out that a) I wasn't going to go via Hillarys as usually trying to get anything sorted out with them is an admin nightmare and b) if thy want to claim I cant deal with them direct then as the contract isn't with me they can just start billing Hillarys and take me out of the loop - all of a sudden it was fine and they cancelled the contract from that moment and I didn't even have to give any notice.
So basically don't take what vodafone says at face value, argue and they seem to back down !!

Why don't you contact you're all singing all dancing FSM who thinks you are so wonderful. I thought you would know the answer to your own questions before you asked them as you seem to be so good at everything else!

We have them made for us by Velux (to their spec) but with any of our fabrics. You charge the customer £20 regardless of size or fabric and you get £15 of that in commission. Tell your FSM that I said it was OK. I need advice on velux windows ,Do we sell velux or do we have an alternative ? thanks in advance .

These fantastic offers make it so easy to sell this type of blind . My FSM is in total agreement - so much so it has added in a new advisor to share this extra capacity .

Thank you for recognizing my sales ability but until next month I am not roof trained so I will pass this lead to the local guy I dont really want small sales anyway . Any ideas where to stay in Nottingham.
