you don't need to be roof trained to sell & fit bog standard roof blinds. perhaps you're confusing your ambition with your ability?
nobody wants small sales but they very often lead to larger, easier ones. take your head from up your ar$e and smell the toast.

What a nightmare new trousers tesco new shirt primark turned up for first fit and dropped bl00dy f*g ash down trousers and set fire to one leg ,now if I was employed I would be able to claim it back but no I cant thing is my fsm told me to smarten up if I wanted to get on so I pay out 20notes for shirt and trousers for one day ...on top of that had a nose bleed whilst ON top of my ladder great

is it just me or is this company goin up the swany.......use to have a really sucesful agency, did everything i was told and sold sh1t loads of 3 for 99, had roofs coming out me ears....life was grand!!!!and now these dipstick so called spec advisors have come in and running the show...we got no FSM, last one we had was a welshman called Ray or Roy (can't remember his name) and now all i'm doin is out selling sh1te blinds at 50% of....

the wife's had to go back to work to asda she won't even beed me verts up any more and i'm looking for part time employment elsewhere......was wondering if we all clubbed together a couple of commision cheques and got the yanks to back us we could buy these bunch of money grabbers out and pay ourselves more commision...either that or i'm of to learn surveying and be a home information pack surveyor think of the extra work i could pick up.

I had that ray bloke he was ok but these specialists are picking up the cream you only have to look on the delivery vans to see that what area you in mate

had my f s m on today i burnt a curtan with a f*g a few months ago and the customer found it last month and complaned asbout me thing is she smokes to anyway i have to pay 50 pounds for new ones the job was only 128 so im out of pocket ny 30pounds nice one this new law is taking the pi55 my f s m says i shoulnt smoke in my own van


this 5 for 149 deal is causing me problems too as they all want them even though i show the horrid ond only no acounting for taste

I burnt a carpet a few weeks back tryed to hide it under a chair leg but got caught out its ok when its sunny I go outside but in the winter I smoke indoors whats the big deal

I don't think it would be a good idea to turn down the small
sales as you have to take the big with the small. Your fsm
would not like to hear it and your product mix would lower.
You would not get all the benefits from your fsm, ie all the
best leads and promises of greater things,,,,,, then, you
would not think he is so cool anymore and you may revert
to poor performance and revert to using the red plugs into
pvc frames as you once did.
Please heed the good advice from the long serving advisors
as they are the philosophers of the blind world with great
wisdom.
Velux windows are very easy to fit and quick, but don't be tempted
to use 1" nails into the wood, only use the screws
provided.

The best places to stay in Nottingham, i would suggest
a hotel.

Aaahhhh the good old days. Training in Derby, Hillarys booked and paid for the hotels and gave us an allowance for evening meals ;D They even booked taxis to ferry us from hotel to training centre. It just goes to show, us dinosaurs were valued more then than the current high flyers.
Mind you, I have heard that some FSMs are still able to swing this. If they really want a particular person on a course, they can pick up the tab and put it on their own expenses.
Also remember one guy who gave up after the first day, he just couldn't his head around the trig work needed on roofs

why not join themif you cant beet them and become a speciaiist i was asked a while back and will join soon if i think its worth it

If you have to take a IQ test you may struggle.My fsm told me to hold on there may be a better deal on core but im still going to train on shutters ,roofs and awnings anyone wanting to get on in life should keep their options open.

My fittings are coming along fine thankyou had some help via pms so nice to see your not all stuck in the past.Next monday myself the local guy and my fsm are having a meeting so we can resolve my fitting issues ,and maybe help the local with his spare time.
