Mike, just looked at Ray's figures for the first 3 weeks, and congratulations on coming second ;D
I'm pleased to see a Hampshire guy at the top, even if it isn't myself or Russell. If rumours I've heard are true, don't hold out hopes of promotion to the no. 1 slot for the month, they'll only be dashed

I don't hold out any hopes for the month as a whole because week 4 was definitely not good - maybe I'll stay in the top ten but I won't be challenging for No 1 for September. Anyway, didn't you post something the other day about months sales of around £ 28k - if correct then you must have done £ 17k in one week.....a worthy performance indeed. So was I mistaken, or are you just buttering me up now so you can slap me down later ?

Yes, I did have a good last week, but my figures incl. VAT and are for the calender month, not Ray's month. I also put a £3.8k paper order through late Thursday which will probably go on to this months official figures. I was on a weeks holiday at the beginning of Sept, so am not unhappy with my totals.
The rumour I've heard is that the guy already at the top banged a £17k order in during the last week. Knowing Hillarys though, it'll probably take them 3 weeks to get it on the books

OK...I will await Ray's end month figures with interest, but as you only worked three weeks of the month you are no doubt well pleased.
Obviously neither of us is off to a flying start to October, because we are both on here at mid-day when we would much rather be out selling - I've got just five leads for the whole week (converted the first three, one of them a 5 metre awning), so looks like I'll be pouncing on tomorrow's delivery to bring fits forward and hope for more leads next week. Also, I'm off for a week at the end of October so no need to keep looking over your shoulder this month.

Hey you two are lucky im off for a week this month so that leaves Des in with a chance of top 50 Mark ....with a total of 45 agents in Ray's area (Hampshire, Berkshire, and Oxon) then I guess you are right....even Des might make the top fifty ! (Actually, just between the two of us, I think he had a pretty good week last week so is up with the front runners for September)

Des.....just thought I'd get this one in before you did !
I've seen the three county figures for September, and spent much of yesterday evening with a caculator trying to work out how to put a positive spin on the Oxfordshire figures, but have to concede that Hampshire ruled the roost - so, well done to your team but keep watching your back.
Mind you, discounting as much as you do, anyone could convert orders.
Did you notice that all three counties had much lower sales than the previous month, but improved conversion rates - even allowing for the fact that August was a five week month, it seems that leads were down at least 20% in September (despite the super-sales week promises).
It looks as if we're all giving the same message - give us the leads and we can do the business ! Of course, I mean quality leads please - not 3 for £ 99.

Mike, apparently, Hants was down 43% on leads for the month. This is the longest quiet period I can remember. I've made it clear to Ray. This period coincides with his arrival therefore it's his fault
