Here is a first in 5 years! Fitting 4 verticals in a customers house and find a louvre not bonded. Nothing unusual there you might think.Well who ever packs them found it too. GREAT . Only they decided to put 2 staples through it instead of glue. Still, shows initiative? Forever positive -DOLLY

Ahhh!!!! so you have found the person who is fond of a staple or two. There am I chatting away to the customer as I hang the louvres on the rail and then look down to see one is much shorter than the rest. That odd feeling of OH NO yet another DOR washes over you and on closer examination you discover the louvre has been cut in half and then stapled together agian with an overlap - the order was only for £800, so no worry!!!

All of which proves that our gallant Quality Control Dept have been and checked everything is hunky-dory prior to desdpatch. How are you going to avoid the DOR---They will say you cut it with your knife when you opened the box....thats the flanker they tried with me...... Blindsfitter

This is not a new problem, it's been happening for the past twelve years that I know of. It's happened to me several times

It's happened to me several times Me too - not a frequent occurance but has happened to me maybe half a dozen times in fifteen years. Insignificant really, but it makes the company look very stupid in front of the customer.

I sent one Ross Kenney once, never heard anything in reply, probably filed it under"Its only you" Ross Kenney, is not, I am reliably told , a real person. Messages sent to that name are never answered, emails never forwarded, "stolen commission "questions are ignored, clawback complaints go unheeded, ideas on how to shaft agents are passed via this thing to FSMs who put their own spin on it and blame RK--which is neat way of closing the "blame" loop! Ideas for improvements in Despatch are laughed at New product ideas are scorned In general the RK route is a non-route, and those who go there are regressing back to the 19th century. Leave it its not worth the hassle... the less you have to involve yourself with any Hillarys Management at any level, the lower will be your stress levels Bear

This is so un-believable ! but its true.
Ordered and fitted 12 verts in Neome Cream for a local customer . all went well but for one louvre on one blind where there was a horizontal flaw in the fabric.
Like a good boy , i raised a D/O/R for one louvre .
Went back to the customer today and realised the D/O/R louvre was a different colour ! Went back through all the paperwork and the SAM order Everything in Neome Cream .
MMMmmmm So what went wrong . ? . Well..... the whole bl**dy order was wrong ! They made ALL the original 12 blinds in Neome Linen . I didn't notice and nor did the customer notice that the blinds were not Cream!
Now they will not believe me when i want one louvre now made in LINEN , to set right that one blind! So what i had to do was order (on SAM ) one louvre as needed at a super discount price of £1 ! and I'll pay for it myself.
Don't they know the difference between a fabric in Cream and the same fabric in Linen?
Is it just me ? I rather think it is !

No, I had this when neome was first released. They mixed up the rolls of fabrics, and it can only be seen when held up to the light. I did a very large conservatory in it, some came in cream, some in linen. Amazingly even single blinds had some of each. It took 3 attempts to get it right, at which point Hillarys had discovered the problem and isolated all stock. Haven't any problems since. As for ordering 1 louvre, why didn't you just include it with another order at zero value?

Yo there - If i were to include a single louvre at no charge it would still show as another 'line' on the invoice ! If this were included on another persons order , either that customer or 'kin Hillary's would think i am Fiddling. you know i am straight as a Die!
