fitted quite a few straight forward shutter sets all fitted perfect customers loved them.! Then i did first bay recently, sent bay config sheet with order, but overlooked by spec prod . Received shutters as three separate windows-therefore no corner posts and big one too wide, obviously!!! , customer cancelled!!!!!So, make sure they e mail cad design back to you to confirm. don't assume they know order is for a bay.....

Just a word to all shutter advisors to find out what they think of the new way of increasing commission by raising the prices. I have to say that I am very unimpressed its going to make them harder to sell and possibly more of a waste of time going out of area. Please shutter advisors only and lets have a proper discussion not a major rant about hillarys. I for one am not happy about this and have been doing shutters since april. I have given time before speaking but it is time that hillarys increased the commission given instead of trying a no cost option to themselves. If the margins on shutters are so low that then they need to look again at whether they are worth it.

Agree with much of what you say. I do agree with charging more for small shutters, but the benefit to us is minimal. If Hillarys can increase the price from £219 to £259 or more per sq. mt, then we should be getting half of that increase, not just 14.68%

I think its a good idea too be honest I usually price higher on them anyway the other day I qouted and won a sale for only 360 against sandersons price of £1000 .I would like more commision on these though as fitting is less cost efficiant than most other blinds but I love the product

Have fitted my second order last Sunday 3x3 l/r on outside of window to find doors will not meet at bottom in middle by 2cm, they meet ok at top. Tried all ways to shim, pack but cannot get gap to close. Only option left is that doors are slightly warped & waiting for HO to come back on pics taken. Any one else had this problem or similar?

Interesting in the interim that no one has made a comment re the above problem & HO have been as quiet as well. Now into second week in Jan, no advice despite emails & phone calls, one customer witha 3/4 job done & one getting peed off advisor who has spent 4 hours+ so far with no payment!!! Maybe someone from HO will read this & rectify by giving me the help I need but again the price of bacon will probably rise as well.

why don't you post problem on the official website as well point out the time lag. You may get some reponse there from hillarys as they need to show that site works and I'm sure they ddon't want the forum filled up with un resolved problems !!

My first Shutter customer this evening and I hope to secure it tomorrow just one window for £520 though but not a bad start as it 'should' be easy I know it'll take me a little time but we have to start somewhere and I'm hoping I'll have more that'll make it worth my while but let's see how it goes - will keep an eye on teh issues raised though - cheers

Does anyone know about the new minimum shutters prices? I got a message on phone yesterday about it but not had much luck finding out what the costs are from H/O
