Problem with that GVM is that they are another bunch on a 'downward spiral'!!!!!!
You could try the LibDems if you don't mind being 'bummed'!!!!

...Don't push them on said I, slide them on over the top. They go on much easier. He tried it and presto, got them done much quicker and no more sore fingers. Try it and see. Red Agreed , but even doing that, some of the 'c' links are so tight they still are hard to go on. I use a self-activating centre punch prior to drilling when needed. I use this as a reamer to open out the clips on the more difficult ones. It is normally only the 3rd or 4th link that needs to be opened up a little.

Russel....nobody's disappeared.
Phugly has been away in Spain for a few days and will no doubt be catching up with the forum and posting again soon.
I last posted at the weekend and have been online every day, but I'm getting fed up with some of the negativity so, unless I have something particular to say, I'll keep a back seat for a while and let the Team Meetings speak for themselves.
Farmer also posted a couple of days ago, so we haven't abandoned you.

... I agree with nonails and dodgybracket that the present management have to be fully aware that they now have one last chance to make a genuine improvement. On an awnings course yesterday, and was a little concerned when told that "why should Hillarys worry about a few agents complaints. In the overall picture of the total blinds made, the failures are miniscule. They can live with that. Said the biggest cause of waste on blinds was mis-measures, not DORs. He also agrees that we don't help the figures by doing the on site repairs. Hillarys just love that. As to FSMs, there task is to manage leads, and will put in agents as and when they see fit. As long as Hillarys get the business, they win. FSMs are not there to handle gripes, after all most FSMs would know who to speak to to solve a problem the agents raise. So we have speak to service support. The final observation was that Hillarys pay £50 for each lead we get. It is their business, they will maximise these leads and they will do whatever it needs even if the agents are not happy. So I do hope that he is shooting from the hip, and that the board are listening to our concerns.

So I do hope that he is shooting from the hip, and that the board are listening to our concerns. This is not the message that FSM's should be putting over and I sincerely hope that Ross Kenney reads your posts and takes the FSM to one side. On your first point, the number of DOR's is not miniscule - it generally runs at around 6% (which I consider quite appalling in itself) and that doesn't include the ones we fix on site. On wooden venetians the DOR rate recently rose to 17% - hardly a drop in the ocean, so your FSM is talking through his backside. I don't know the figures on mis measures / agent errors but I would happily gamble a tidy sum that they are less than 10% of the total DOR's and, if you exclude rookie agents in their first six months, considerably less than that. Your other comments alluding to recruitment of new agents and to FSM support only serve to indicate that your FSM is going to have to reappraise his outlook and communication skills when he presents the Advisor Feedback summary at your Team Meeting. Hope I never get your FSM reallocated to my area - we would clearly clash in a big way ! Some of these guys seriously need to readjust their thinking now that we are talking to each other and the company are listening to us.
