I dont follow what you mean Dolly, a service call is done by you at your expense and you keep it all. Who told you you send 50% to Hillarys and how much have you been told to charge them. Red

In the past i have collected all the monies eg £20 for a record and then months later credit control are chasing me for the money treating it as an outstanding invoice. All i have then taken is a £15 call out fee. The mailer i got recently about all the rewards package confirms this 50%!

Usually when you are booked in for a service. the customer is told the standard fee is 15 pounds. I have always use my discretion and if its something small like louvers need realigning I just charge a tenner. I keep this not Hillarys. If its a bigger job I raise my price. Unless you are refering to a repair that has to be sent back for repair. Is that what you are on about?

Yes sorry repairs yesterday i had 7 pleated need repairing £100+ customer happy with that but i have never had such a big repair and i never knew 50% of the value was ours on top of the service call. Tomorrow is a single venetian from the notes on SAM so is more straightforward. So my question is ( sorry bit thick today) is does the £100+ go to hillarys and then i am paid 50% via commissions or do i need to take all the payment and send hillarys 50%.

As far as I know, you send them all the payment and then you get your comission once its done. I say as far as I know because I would have repaired them myself at a cost of 15 pound each so for half a days work I would get over 100 pounds. Maybe some one that has used the return to base for repairs can shed more light on it for you. But to be honest I would take them home and get a load of cord sent to you from H/O and restring them yourself and keep it all. Hillarys would prefer you to do this as repairing blinds is not cost effective to them. Red

Dolly, you'll get an invoice with the returned blinds, treat it as normal. When your commission statement comes through, it'll show 50% rather than 14.67%

The deal is if you repair the blinds yourself you keep all the money, if you send them back to hillarys on a repair note you send money to Hillarys who will then return half of it to you in your commission
