How about advertising the chat room in the banner at top (where "Click HERE for a great website for PocketPC SAT NAV inc TOM TOM !" in red is now)
Could put suggested times there, when advisors could make a point of logging in.
Best times for me would be 8.30 - 9.30 ish tuesday or wednesday. What times would others prefer ??

Good idea to post times at the top......those times sound good to me..... I will try and get the kids (hubby and 10 year old!) off the computer for then.  PS When I couldn't get in the first time it was something to do with not being Java enabled. Scroll down to the bottom of the chat room page and log in with your member username.....  |

How about a recomended counter on each posting so we can all see the relavant topics that drum up the most interest. This is used a lot on other notice boards and is very useful in filtering out the good stuff for other readers.

there is a type of counter ie - 'read xx times' nest to each thread.

Does anyone actually use the chat room? I've spent some time in the past talking to myself..... the NEW chat room Motters has created will be much easier to use. Maybe all the silly stuff will stay in there and not cause offense to anyone wanting to post about the spare parts they need.  |
