just who as written the script for the people who answer the phone.do they have a copy each or is there only 1 copy which is no doubt illegible doing the rounds. i say this because over the past 3-4 days i think i have heard more than 6 versions. 3499 up to 4 mtr (the latest sale sheet says up to 150cm) 3499 upto5mtr any color any width any type of blind service call new h/r reqd price £15 didnt even ask size could have been 5mtr. and the best till last we will send someone out to measure and he will give you the price and take the order for you(so far so good) what happens next asked the customer I don't know says call centre girl if you don't want to fit them yourself then I'm not sure but we maybe able to fit them for you? this was a customer who had rung a local competitor who told him that he would reduce any price that hillarys gave by 55%. needless to say I got the order using my marvelous sale talk ,good humor,wit and natural understanding of the woes of my fellow man and finally the sample books did help
I'm sorry but at this stage it just beggers belief just who is pulling the bloody strings at h/o,i would expect this sort of thing when the callcentre first opened but how long as it been going and they can't get something this simple right.

" In that case says the CLG twit, You could go onto our sister site WebBlinds and thats a self fit service.............." Words fail me..... MYBIGGEST COMPETITOR IS HILLARYS BLINDS OF COLWICK. ROSS... ARE YOU STILL WITH THIS COMPANY CANT YOU GET THE d**n THING RIGHT? ?? The client then wanted the measurements off me...... fat chance.. Different Company says I...sorry folks!!!!! THIS SHOWER OF MANAGEMENT HAS NOW SHOWN ITS TRUE COLOURS--SALES AT ANY PRICE FROM ANYWHERE AND SOD THE ADVISORS ON WHOM THE WHOLE BUSINESS WAS SET UP Ye Gods.... What does the Forum with management 5 months ago say about that Hereticus, Red, etc etc who sadly placed such mis-aligned faith in it? ?

Did a call yesterday, conservatory being partitioned off in to 2 parts ... "Not to worry. We'll send someone along to quote (what they can't measure), and the quote is valid for 3 months" News to me, I thought it was 3 weeks. Who, in their right mind, holds quotes for 3 months? Apart from Hillarys of course

Hi Blindsfitter, Sorry to disillusion you but I never had faith in CLG,never had, never will. This department is pulling the whole of Hillary's down with it. I am vehemently against diary booking, always have been and my warnings 3 years ago about how bad it would get went totally unheeded. We are all reaping the rewards of a badly organized department that will be the death of Hillary's. Sorry if this hurts some people but it is fact. It will get worse.Believe me, I have been through it once before and know where it is going. Everything I said would happen has happened. Every day almost every agent has at least one wasted trip and sometimes the whole day is wasted. There is no substitute for the experience the agent has when dealing with a customer. All the offers we are having forced upon us are not due to a downturn in the market but because CLG have made such a hash of our diaries it looks like no one is buying, well they wont will they if the conservatory is not built yet or we can not do a curved venetian or as in one of my cases, the house had no floor, up or down, no stair, no windows and no plaster on the wall, customer only rang for a brochure but was told I wold come out and measure it for her,or the myriad of other ingenues things CLG come up with that I could never, in a month of Sundays dream up. Well, thats that off my chest for another night. Red

The ACTUAL house is in a Different COUNTY.
Am Totally Shocked at the waste of MY time and DIESEL !
All because CLG Dept are BONKERS- What are they on !!!
Can't cope much more with this .

I have kept a tight lip on this subject for too long, now I am letting rip and I suggest you all do the same if you want it to get better. Red

Same crap day here. Call 1 Diary note says Please call early as other company attending. Arived 9am sharp no customer only builder,house is totally gitted for re-fit.Guy kindly rings customer who states he told tham after 1030 .Nothing to measure probably for at least 3-4 weeks.
Call 2 No show left card.
Call 3 Please ring customer 1 hour before as new house. Rings customer sorry this number not in use. Result 3 hours wasted As noted on here previously I am convinced the inmates are running the asylum.
