Has anyone else had this amusing little ploy from Customer Services?
If you don't answer a call on your mobile because either -
1/. Your'e with a customer
2/. Your'e up a big ladder grappling with a handful of slippery louvres
3/. Or, heaven forbid you have finished for the day at 7.30 pm,
they leave a voicemail message comprising of - The d**n 'On Hold' music.
So you have to pay to listen to even more of that hated drivel.
I know its a pity if we are not instantly there to answer your calls folks, but I feel its a bit snide to play an on hold message to us.
Grow up please and understand that we cannot always get to the phone for whatever reason. No harm in leaving a message or killing the call without leaving a message.

With this sort of thing you need to get back to the CSC Team Leaders and tell them about the problem. They can check back through the records and find out who is leaving these messages.
Thanks.

Tell us when the call was recieved and for how long. The outgoing call records here will trace back to someones phone.
BINGO ;D
You inbox is needed for important messages not schmoozak musak.

you get the hold music because when we ring you we`ve usually got the customer on the other line therefore we have to "park" your call rather than release it, because if we release it we lose the customer too (which in some cases wouldn`t be a bad thing!!)

Thanks for that..... sometimes just a simple explaination solves a lot of frustrations.... That's another good thing about this site...as long as we get feedback from you lot in Nottingham. ;D
