i dont believe it neither. opened the local rag, and there it was 4 Blinds For £129.00.would someone at ho kindly tell me what samples to offer, or should i just sell them tyrone or fluer in cream at that price.  ho hum..........i have a second interview today, so things are looking up.  |

Well our adverts are still 3 4 99, but the advert has a flash "now extended to 14th"
Meanwhile just received the weekly update, new promo is 4 4 129, but it is now for both 3.5 and 5' louvres. As I rarely sell 5" louvres, they go from £36 per blind to £32. How are we supposed to make a living. Cost up, prices even lower.
And to answer what fabrics, Acacia bottle, bordeaux, turquiose, Herringbone Vanilla (89mm only) 4 4 129. Acacia honey, hyacynth, and Cerilly avacado are 4 4 159. A sample of herringbone and new spacer cards are supplied, with labels for the existing samples.
I wonder how long "stocks will last".
This offer runs from 15th May.
And to cap it all Tony Boyd is leaving the company after 25 years. Another of the FSMs deciding pastures are better elsewhere.

If they have to do these desperate promotions why dont they put limits on the widths like they,ve done with the venetians. then it could be left to our discretion to increase the price as we the Advisors seem fit. Sod that I"ll Im gonna do it any way! & that white one (Willow Chalk) its sold out in Yorkshire as well.
The best thing marketing can do is try earning a living for a month as an advisor when they put these desperate promotions on

On my mailer it says no 3 for 99 for the next 3 weeks ;D ;D ;D (15th May-4th June) area code MPM/MPH (East midlands)and doesn't mention 4for 129 so its probably a localised thing, having said that the leaflets i get through my door are different to the ones i get in my sales areas 2 miles up the road, so whos got the 4 for 129?  ? |

I should never have had the 99 for £2, 99 for £3 in my area .... & I certainly don't need the 129 for £4!!!!!
What happened to the advertising on a 'need to by area' that we where promised.
This aggressive advertising is NOT helping us at all here.
I'm just 'snowed under' with leads but with very few sales or decent ones at that!!!!!!
All this is going to do is force me out & set up AGAINST Hillarys where I can buy cheaper & sell lower whilst making MORE money for fewer leads!!!!
Marketing myself or my business for me is not a problem.
I would prefer NOT to go this route at this time, but unless Sillarys STOP this ridiculous approach to our business then I'll have no other option!!!
Hillarys can't survive on selling themselves short & still hope to rely on the Hillarys Brand & former reputation forever!!!!
NOT whilst they are C0cking up the manufacturing, delivery, after sales & the poor treatment of the Sales force as well!!!!!

& it gets worst. Some of the rookie Advisors cave in to scrote customers & let them have cream acacia 4 for 129. It happened last October in my area the last time they did this madness

I was told this was for select areas only & only got samples on Sat. Including rollers as well. I've had more thingy ups with supply of 3 fors & lost business due to failure to supply that it has been a futile exercise & put us in front of the we want cheap only brigade. Got one last week, across town from my prev call to be told I want neutral colours & if you aint got them I'll go to the asian supplier, who is still advertising our pleated cover photo in our main newspaper, despite telling marketing twice we do not deal with them anymore, for his naff fabric at 3 for 75. Give us our normal clientel back for goodness sake.
