I went to a 3 for £99 call. Customer did not want 3 verts in the available colours (pink/green/blue), so I sold "up" to 2 white clouds for £99. Went to fit them today and customer says she phoned customer services who told her she could have another blind for free!!! WHAT!!!!!!! So they just want me to measure another window and go back with another blind....... THREE visits for £14 to fit THREE blinds. Its getting past a joke. Also had another one this week... 3 verts in a bay for £99. They had no deposit, so arranged to go back and measure and collect the money the next day. No money the next day either.... third day a note on the door saying they had to go out... could I come next week!! (Needless to say... I won't be going there again!) So another three visits for NOTHING!!! NO MONEY!! These 3 for 99's MUST STOP!!! NOW!!!! Really really mad now!!!! __________________________________________ After I rang customer services to complain........they are now sending another agent out to measure up for the third "totally free" blind. I expect he will get paid £20 for his trouble........... Mad Mad Mad..

Joy, it makes you wonder who "customer services" are? Why cave in to this sort of demand? If our promotions are legal within the advertising standards framework, and I'm sure they are, it can only be because people are too weak to disagree with the customer. Customer service should be about getting it right, not palming people off with freebies just to get them off the phone.
On more than 1 occasion, I've had customer services tell customers 10% vouchers can be applied retrospectively. Do our own staff not read the terms "must be presented at time of order"?

like i keep saying the price isn't the problem, its the bloody commission. Fabrics are around 12-18 pence per metre,on cheap crap, 20 - 28p per metre on owt decent, average 35metres per blind, headrail weights and chains, etc, 7 0r 8 quid, work it out, and see where you think the money is going
