Interesting new way to sell our blinds even cheaper.
I generally find that if a customer is considering further blinds they are very forthcoming once their first order / fit has come up to expectations, and don't need any extra financial incentive,, but it might pull in a few more sales and doesn't involve an extra visit so fair do's.

Why 25%? surely if fit etc. has gone well we are selling to easy targets, wouldn't 15% be enough?

This now means we are selling some PT 7 for 25% of book price so why do we need 7 price tables. Surely its time we got back to sensible prices without the gimmicks. Then quality and service would be important to us all. Does this mean that we can get over 75% off our own orders

Apparently some areas are trialing just 3 price groups, good, better, best.
Sounds a lot simpler, except, how can you fit clouds in to any of those groups?

The good, best, better trial, not that good, paper promotions in this area say 2 4 £99, we don't do, fsm says do for, so we do, clouds came in on both times £222, & £276, can anyone tell me who charges this price 4 clouds, never in my area, r we supposed to take customers from the weaker supplies in this promotions or whot, not this area, top management take note.

Jigsaw
Have you fed this back to your FSM and the Good, Better, Best trial team. If this is the case we need this information so decide where to go from here.
thanks

I sold the 3 for £99 and had to drive 30 miles in total for 15 quid. Where upon they offer 25% off the next order for someone that couldn't afford the 3 for 99 quid in the first place. Made me excuses a left. Is this how we are expected to do business with a supposedly quality product. I always thought that Hillarys was recognised as a quality product that people were prepared to pay for. All we are doing now is pulling in customers that want something for nothing. I know there is always a balance to make but give us the freedom to discount a more expensive fabric, than offer a rancid promotion that attracts all the wrong customers ...

I think the 99 for £3 or 3 for £99 was a big mistake all round. I am already getting the backlash from this, going on appointments such as one where they had 6 verticals for £198 (somebody forgot to read it is supposed to be 1 per household). Now wants 2 more, so I quote the normal price and they just laugh. " I'll wait for the next promotion" . This is the long-term problem, it has dragged us into the gutter. Sam
