I was recently on a training course and this was a subject of some conversation between the various advisors, the agreed approach (even from the instructor) was to leave a standard quote pad (yellow) quotation without any detail except the type of blind its location, type of fabric and price of the blind and the invoice total, but to process the quote through SAM properly so that if it is converted its made correctly then note on the paper form its SAM ref in the order number (in case customer calls service center then they have the correct contact details) obviously dont send paper to HQ as quote is already registered. Much more fun to increase width by 1cm and give customer a print out. When you get home, go to order list - quotes - correct quote and resave. Must be done within 24 hours of original quote

Heard a story today which has really made my week. Customer phoned Web Blinds complaining his blinds don't fit . Measurements must be right, because he used the sizes left by the Hillarys advisor . And if they are wrong, it's Hillarys fault as it's their measurements and we're all the same company. Customer was politely told that when ordered on Web Blinds, dimensions are his responsibility and blinds will not be re-made. Whoever you are -WELL DONE. ONE UP FOR THE ADVISORS!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
