I am Core - and my Diary is not being utilized ! When i do get leads the quality is very poor.
So what exactly is happening out there . Are Specialists getting preferential Diary Allocation ie- If business is 'slack' generally , are specialists getting 'core' appointments to keep them busy .
Is this the work of Hillary's HO or a Demon FSM .
From my view the point of being an advisor is to be busy , to get the business converted to sales. Even withh 3 for £149 and 3 for 2 Offers , this is just NOT happening .
Whats the Point? shall i retire early ? Let the Newbies take a hold?
Am i the only one?

No you are not alone have been very slack for the last few months. In 14 years I have never known things to be so uncertain. Yes we have quiet periods from time to time but never for longer than a couple of weeks.
I know the advertising is going out ok in my area but we now have about 6 agents instead of 2 or 3 and this obviously means less leads per agent but not necessarily less leads coming in than before therefore no problems for hillarys but big problems for us established agents.

That simply highlights the Un-fairness of it all ! Experienced Advisors have built up good business , then are Robbed by Hillarys pure Gread! No wonder there is discontent in the Ranks! We Care ! But it seems Hillarys don't . This is not meant to be Negative - but it IS the TRUTH !

Yes, hardly any leads, talk to the drive, look in the van, not many blinds. Blinds are made as soon as they are order via SAM, customer no longer has 48 hrs cooling off period. Hillarys advertising for new advisors and we are all sitting around with no leads.

Hillarys advertising for new advisors and we are all sitting around with no leads. Its not just Hillary's. Every sales sector except food retail is struggling. We are at the start of an economic slowdown thanks to Gordon Brown and the bank of England. A recession is more than likely, especially if the interest rates go up again as is widely expected. All this while the American interest rate is on the decline is sending money into this country via money exchange rates but is crippling the home owner and retail sectors. It is not just Hillary's. However, it does not help when the economy is so slow and they have brought in more advisor's. It just means less leads to each individual and hardship all round.

Our new Fsm has brought in new advisors & the number of leads has plummeted! its to make sure the lead to diary target is kept. this happened about 2 years ago when lead management was taken off the shop managers & given to central leads & FSMs

Here's a good situation - as you know school kidz are now on the 6 weeks holidays , which in turn means thousands of familys are now off on their breaks .
My Diary has been oh so quiet - Of course A.N.Other advisor is on my patch .
But Hey-Presto he must be on holiday next week , because suddenly my diary has lit up ! Whats the betting it returns to nothing again once the 'holiday' guy gets home .
I'll make hay whilst the sun shines don't you worry!

Nothing ever changes mate, every time they take on a new advisor, he or she will always get the leads in favour of the exsisting advisor. however, it is also a well known fact that most dont last more than 6 months. So earn your money as and when you can.

Can any one explain this!!! Some one rang one of my appointments to tell them I couldn't make the appointment because of ill health ( i haven't had a day off with sick in 8 years) even tho I'd rang the customer just 10 min before to bring the appointment forward!! Result 1 lost appointment & sale & slightly drunk off customer. P.S. this has happened ( to my knowledge) at least 3 times in the last 6 months

Result 1 lost appointment & sale & slightly drunk off customer. P.S. this has happened ( to my knowledge) at least 3 times in the last 6 months It could be another company that she had in before you. If she told them she was getting quotes she may have told them you were coming. Its then just a case of them ringing her up to cancel. Result, one upset customer that may go back to the original quoting company. It happened to me around 6 years ago. Also false bookings to homes that were either not there or no one knew what I was on about. It happened at Xmas time, our busiest time of year. You need to be direct with the customer and explain what has happened to get to the bottom of it.

Sounds plausible but in all 3 instances they tried to rebook with another (new) Advisor

Sounds plausible but in all 3 instances they tried to rebook with another (new) Advisor It could be anything. Thats the problem now. With no direct control over any of your customers it turns you into a paranoind jelly. You tend to get very protective of the relationship you build with your customers and when this sort of thing happens your mind plays tricks on you as you have no way of knowing the real reason. CLG was not the answer that Hillarys thought they would be, it has seen a lot of good advisors off. I myself only hang on in there by a thread.
