I'm told Washington factory is about 1/3 the size of Nottingham, so in theory is 25% of our delivery. So why is it ALL my late deliveries are from Washington? I've already had to re-schedule 3 jobs this week, I now have another 4 "guaranteed fitted by Christmas" that I won't get until January.
The amazing thing is, I have the louvres, I have the invoices, I just don't have the curved headrails - they arrived at Nottingham a day after they'd been invoiced. Obviously invoiced early to make Washington backlog look good. Carrier delivery no good, as they won't send curved rails this way, so sod the customer, our stats look good, let's party.
It wouldn't be so bad if this happened occasionally, but the majority of mine and my local colleagues late deliveries are from Washington. We all get their invoices without blinds, but it seems to be acceptable to them.
