Where is the justification for the price increase???
"Our research" they say! Lets see it then. Exactly, no show.
My research, with the 6 day to day competitors in my area, shows that we are consistently 30% too 50% higher in price, across all products.
Did their research involve contacting anyone on the front line of selling?? Us! I think not! What company overlooks its best source of information?
Are our products better?? Is our quality higher?? Is our range wider?? Are our components more reliable?? Is our delivery quicker?? Are there reliable and effective communication channels open to resolve problems?? ETC ETC...
The answer to the above...a big fat ......well you know the answer!
So, I ask, of anyone............ WHERE IS THE JUSTIFICATION?
Answers please.

What price increase? 2% - That was announced in an update or at the seminar can't remember when, is included in the latest SAM update 4.3.4 and I received as a price book in today's post. Come on bvm keep up ;D

Come on bvm keep up ;D Sorry, it appears I've been using the 2% increase since I last updated SAM, about 4 weeks ago. I knew about the £12.50 rather than £10 for long rails on the multi-blind deals, but not the 2%. Ah well, it might have improved my discounts by 2% ;D and I've got a 2% pay rise without realising it. Add that to 10% rise I achieved by becoming VAT registered, it could be a good year. As for the original posting, is 2% really the difference between getting or not getting an order? If you're already BAQing, it won't really make a difference

Earlier this year you had a price increase of 4%, but in London we had a 10% increase, and that put us about 35% above the national average.
Now another 2% .
