Asked to do a service call for another advisor.
Find out it has been going on for nearly 12 months, and i am the 4th advisor to go in and try and sort it.
The problem, customer doesn't like the overlaps on the end 2 louvres on his patio blind, and his 2 kitchen blinds were sent yellow instead of silver. also the 4 velux windows, the blackout fabrics bulge and keep coming out of the frame.
he paid his £ 200 deposit, order value about £600. Come June this year, he is bombarded with threatning letters demanding payment, even a baliffs letter !!. he showed me them all.
He has written several polite letters to Hillarys, none of which have been responded to.
He finally resorted to a nasty letter which got a response, hence me being sent in.
I have ordered all the blinds again, his patio blind on the chunky luxury rail, (does that get rid of the overlap?) and correct louvres. The advisor who had fitted them, hadn't taken spacers out where needed, and could have done with putting extra spacers here and there. Nothing major really.
Told customer i would return to fit them when i recieved them.
About 8 or 9 days after i had been, customer rings hillarys to ask for an update.
He was told i had left the company due to personal reasons, and they would send in another advisor. (can you imagine how this customer must have felt by now).
He rang me to see if I could shed any light on the matter.
I looked into it, there was nothing on the system !!!!!!!!!!!
So we raised the d.o.rs' again, or so i thought,............
a week later, got a call from the service, why haven't you been out to the customer to,fit hte blinds,
er, because i haven't got the blinds ?!!
Looked on system again nothing on !!!
Made them again, sent the velux and what was supposed to be the chunky luxury rail. All louvres missing.
They had sent the delta 7 track which was wrong, so we had to have it sent by carrier, in hope that we could finish the job tonight.
Carrier brought it today, left out in rain, fortunately everything o.k, but 2 sets of louvres ARE THE WRONG COLOUR !!!!!!
I cant believe the customer has not pulled out all the existing blinds and done away with us.
he certainly is not using Hillarys again, and i have noticed that he has now got some verticals up in his new conservatory that aren't ours as well.
So to whoever said i was negative the other day, this is one of the reasons why.
Why do i need to have all this hassle, costing me time and money, never mind Hillarys loosing yet more custom to the opposition.
Sorry but just had to get that off my chest.
Due to me being down to 5 or 6 leads a week, started to look into it--
We wrang up to make 2 false appointments this week, in slots that were available to me, and in the postcodes i cover.
Have they come through to me..................?
Have they blocks.
So with business being decimated, and hassle every way i turn,
is there any point now.
I have our "roadshow" tuesday evening, should i stand up and ask why i am now in this positon, in front of every one, or just sit at the back and keep quite, and shaft the bar steward who is shafting me.
