Dear Hillary's as of now I will no longer be at your beck and call . Am i suppose to provide a free call out service for your blinds for 1year after fitting .
Why should I be out of pocket for repairs to blinds upto 1 yr after fitting.
It costs me fuel and my own valuable time to run around keeping customers happy for you HILLARY'S.
You are quick to deduct me £7.50 for mis measures but dont give me any costs to carry out repairs. well sorry I will no longer provide this service until you PAY ME for this.

service call outs were discussed at reading and im sure at every fsm team meeting, the best result i think we will get on this is payment for multiple dors on the same order but thats only a possibility. stopping doing dors independantly is advisor suicide and not recomended. i would like to know whats happening with commission clawbacks as mellisa is now gone and was apparantly looking into this who is now taking this on do any of us know where we stand . i spend 5 hours a week on dors and am pi%$ed off at clawbacks on top of wasted time as i was at reading this was raised and hope to see a result asap

The issue of doing service calls for nothing is going to become a bigger issue considering the drop in quality of manufacturer. I've had very few up to 3 months ago but now getting more calls where blind has developed a fault.
Done loads of service calls to rectify ex-advisors work and been paid for it, don't mind (but haven't had any) rectifying my fitting work for no pay but why should I fund Hillarys quality cuts to save money ??

Look at the old postings on this site & you will notice we have done - deposits, bonus, claw backs & service calls for nothing etc already. It is very frustrating & it may not change anytime soon but we may be guilty of 'going round houses' ( sorry for any pun! ) with the same old stuff if we are not careful. As I've posted before, we like to moan but some of these comments are in danger of repeating themselves. Any new members could perhaps spend time trawling through these older postings to see what has been discussed. I am sure that I too will be wingeing about things we have already discussed very soon.... and for that I apologise in advance!!!

ACADEMY Well said, Academy!!! I too cover a fairly large area and have seen a marked increase in service calls to recently fitted blinds. I have been over 6 years a Hillary agent, and I find I can no longer stomach the expense in time and petrol doing calls where shoddy manufacturing necessitate a call-back. More often than not I cannot fix the reported fault which means a DOR--which in turn means a SECOND trip to see that customer. So I am doubly punished for some management accountants very unclever actions. Are they trying to find a level of "acceptable callouts " that we will do for "free"? and then when it becomes too much ONLY then will they improve quality to keep us quiet. Then they will advertise this as" MAJOR PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT". When you use a shower of incompetent penny-pinching back-stabbers as your manufacturer and pay-master, you have to expect this kind of behaviour. WHY IS IT TAKING HILLARYS SO LONG TO MAKE A SINGLE GENUINE NOD IN THE DIRECTION OF THE MATTERS DISCUSSED AT THE 2 MEETINGS. ? Like the cost of ink to put the existence of this forum in the weekly newsletter? Like paying us the value of what we sell even if they cut 20 or 30% off the bill we fit ,because they hacked off a customer??? Like showing they CARE??? Dodgybracket

I too am not alone in noticing a marked annoyance with the total lack of any response from Hillarys on matters discussed weeks ago. If they had any interest in promoting the mind-set of a loyal yet badly disspirited workforce then at least a single act or nod in our direction in the interim would have been seen as them taking an interest. THEY HAVE NOT DONE SO, AND I SHARE THE DOUBTS OF MANY OTHERS THAT THEY EVER WILL. I TRULY BELIEVE THEY ARE FULL OF SPIN AND WIND. HERETICUS and others, ITS TIME you stopped continually cutting them some slack, and saying " it needs time, there costs to consider, etc etc...." It truly time someting was engineered to wake Colwicks ideas up. They are experts at "urine extraction"... The clock has run out Hillarys and your score is sadly ZERO. What do the rest of you think??? Nonails

Harsh maybe to bite at Hereticus and others this soon, but I share your pain, and also feel that if Hillarys do not make a single move towards the long list of their shortcomings by this time next week, then it is time to perhaps consider setting talks on one side. Some of us, myself included, have ways of knowing a lot more about Hillarys inner workings , internal memos, and guarded expressed intentions than we would ever admit in public forums, and I can assure you that despite any platitudes expressed on this forum, NOTHING is planned in the short-term. There is a small coterie at the top resisting all change, and they exist on the basis that there are 20 million other workers in the UK who could replace any one of us. They look on us as negotiating from a position of great weakness. Frankly 2 senior management have expressed themselves in print as not giving a toss about our "List of woes"..... I could go on.... that's just wrong - PM RossK on this. P. No disrespect here , Motters, but by experience if you tell RossK, he will email it on to the FSM thingy, who will get out its script and waffle you to death.... and all you get is wasted time and raised blood pressure. Its called buck passing--giving the impression you care and provoke action, when really the reverse is the actual truth. Hillarys will get a sale, the other agent gets a sale, you get expenses, lost time and frustration. Do Hillkarys care, do they b****cks! All they care about is sales. If you collapsed dead on the job tomorrow they wouldnt even send a wreath. BUT they would give the customer 25% discount for the inconvenience..... AND the replacement fitter would doubtless suffer a 25% cut in his commission. I am very very very annoyed at the way things are not going in this so called caring Company. We are dealing with uncaring greedy people, amd life is becoming too short to persevere. Bear

Life is too short, hence I am giving it 6 months. But please don't give us, that have been to the forums the grief that HQ should be getting. I am trying to be positive, but its for the last time, i have just about drained the last dreggs of positive.
