Just fited a roller blind today. It came with a broken end cap. When I phoned through to get a spare end cap I was told the whole blind would have to be DOR'd. What a waste of money. Why can't Hillarys just send me the spare part which must only cost a few pence instead of having to remake the whole thing. Come on hillarys instead of penny pinching with envelopes, printer paper etc. etc. you would be better looking at areas like this where money is wasted unnecessarily. Anyone else got similar tales to tell?

It may be quicker to get the whole blind re made...I had the same problem a few months ago..the roller came with white end caps instead of brown....I rang to ask to be sent some brown caps to replace them....it took them 3 weeks to send them to me...and guess what...they sent me more white ones...took another 2 weeks before I recieved the correct ones.....I am currently waiting on some 42mm roller brackets in brown...I have requested them 3 times...been sent white ones twice...customer has been waiting 4 weeks for me to fit her blinds...I cannot fit them without brown brackets...Now thinking of buying a tin of brown paint...would be quicker than waiting for Hillarys to get their act together
