Very pleased to see that we can now offer Blackout Romans – something positive to come out the seminars though, judging by the detail in the launch, I guess it was probably already under development so we can’t take all the credit.
Also, for my sins, I got dragged by the missus to the Ideal Home Exhibition yesterday and, of course, popped onto the Hillarys stand where I saw actual Shutters for the first time – nice product, high order values, and getting a lot of interest. Thirty percent or more of the leads taken at the exhibition have been for this product. I’m on the training course this week so I’ll tell you more later.
Another very interesting development was a Roller Blind on the exhibition stand with a big picture of a lion’s head (might have been a tiger, I don’t know) – it seems that we might soon be able to order Roller Blinds with customised print, just send a digital photograph with the order and it can be reproduced on the blind. Quite a lot of potential – football fans, pop star pictures, company logos (I’m going to get one with Bear’s head on it just to remind me not to be too bullish) – only problem is that the plan is to launch through Web Blinds and not through us !

hereticus Correct me if i'm wrong, but i seem to remember the issue of the removal of Web Blinds from the Hillarys web site being raised at the seminars, and someone said at the time that it was being dealt with as they spoke. Not heard anyone mention it since, and yes the link is still there. Do you or anyone else know whats happening on this matter. owl. Good point. Don't know the answer, and it wasn't mentioned in the update in the weekly mailer. I hope to have a little time with Ross when up at Nottingham tomorrow, so I'll be sure to bring this up and find out what is going on.

Did you know that more traffic is directed to Web blinds than to the Hillary's main brand page? Don't know what turnover Web blinds actually has in business compared to Hillary's main brand name. Makes you wounder which direction Hillary's are heading ultimately. Red

NO 1 Webblinds still linked to Hillarys --no action taken. Simple job for IT genius. If Instructed, that is! Maybe they are too busy attaching trojans to the emailed diaries to do that?? NO 2 Stolen Commissison --no action taken--just how hard is that?. Theft has been going on since day one of man's existence. Why do the Senior Management preside continually over open planned theft of other peoples money and do nothing about it?? Answer --because they can get away with it and procrastinate, so lets see how they handle a researcher who may soon be contacting them. ...shortly... NO 3 Communication--I am astounded that a fellow agent had a £50.00 deduction taken off an fit on Saturday on the lying excuse he had missed an appointment. The customer has been delaying fit since before last Christmas, for heavens sakes!!They were being done by the Accounts Dept. so they ring up Customer Care and Complain and get £50.00 off with not a word to the agent to confirm. THIS NEEDS PURSUING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. sO NOTHING DONE THERE EITHER... HERETICUS, NOW LETS HAVE A LIST OF THREE THINGS WHICH HAVE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER-AND DONT INCLUDED WOODENS(YET!) There is being unhappy, there is being annoyed, there is being frustrated, there is being angry, then it moves on to being ignored and there it gets nasty. I, in company with most of you have been on this increasing scale of displeasure with the flaccid thieving management we now experience. Some of us put trust (still!) in the earnestness of John Risemann, and the alleged sincerity of Ross Kenney, --but we also had good feelings about Melissa Bunyan, and look where that got us!!!! There are plans well advanced to rack this whole fiasco up to a level which Hillarys will find very hard to keep a lid on , both inside and outside the confines of the Company. Talking to Hillarys, Hereticus, is like shouting down a well--all you hear is yourself. Well that stops from now...
