Well said b11nds. Yet again mangement have missed the point I dont beleive my last posting said anything about greener grass or disgruntled agents I merely pointed out a managerial business approach which should be to take your people with you in order to succeed and I stand by my point that this site clearly shows this is not happening when well proven agents are leaving

these are worrying times confidence in this company is waining with only mellisa taking a interest in our worries its a shame with these issues the rot has set in because this is a great job when we all pull in the same direction when many large long estabilished advisors jump and are pushed you begin too lose confidance that we matter which is a shame too us that have worked hard invested and who care perhaps the last advisor too leave will turn the lights out.............................................................................................................................................................

err Mr b11inds you are the only one complaining........................................NOT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> So Melissa and your cronies, I will 1,000% back this guy up, with absolutely everything he has written.
He is not just another disgruntled advisor mark my words.
Lets put it this way, I will be doing the same if this carries on, as will my colleague in this area.
So answer me this, do you think any new advisors will make an impression around here, selling 3 for 99, if so how long will it take...........
I am or was happy with Hillarys, yes even knowing that i could make more than double working on my own. The point is we are self employed, and when things begin to affect family life that are out of your control, then something has to be done about it.
Incidentally, I have sold you lot 40 grands worth of blinds this month, where is my bonus................................ What will you get out of the 40K
My first area manager always said that this was to cover paying my fitter.
So come on don't you lot at HQ want to talk.
I will give a day up to talk to you.
Have I to bring my solicitor with me?
COME ON TALK................................

I was told that bonus was there for me to employ a fitter if needed or simply to ensure that I had an increased incentive to sell more. On top of this I was assured that my bonus would remain as I was always there to help out my FSM, Customer Care Dept & the 'then' Shop if urgent cover etc. was required & because I would aid & assist new Advisers. Now there is almost no bonus. It has contributed in part to my £10K drop in income over the past few years. The 'Goal Posts' have been moved so many times you then attempt to make changes for yourself to hit bonus once again only to have the criteria moved yet again. It de-motivates you beyond belief. Never before have I worked for a company that is not able to encourage a salesperson to succeed or to encourage the individual to push the boundary's & go that extra mile for extra financial reward & job satisfaction. To add insult to injury I like many others have been forced into additional monthly outlay with SAM which is the 'biggest load of rubbish' going along with being forced, coerced & cajoled into entering into a financial agreement ( interest free or otherwise ) with numerous threats of termination or No leads!! thus causing some degree of personal hardship. This alone contravenes the Consumer Credit Act of 1974. I wonder too, if MBNA are aware of Hillarys 'persuasive' ( bullying!!!! ) tactics to get people to 'buy' into SAM? To now see that Hillarys are clawing back commissions from Advisers because of the company's failings takes this to a whole new level. The whole affair is a disgrace!!!!! I've noticed in another topic that Mellissa makes the same threat as many FSM's .... namely that those refusing to go to 3 for £99 enquiries may have there leads stopped. ( See Topic - 'talk to me directly' ) Whilst I agree that 'Cherry Picking' is unacceptable, ... it is the tone of such comments that do much to damage an already fragile partnership. Am I being too harsh? .... I think not!!!

Er Melissa, where is your reply. More importantly, does your boss know about us "disgruntled advisors", I will talk to him, I will give up time for him. Do you not see the problems?? We have been through recession before without crappy 3 for 99 offers. What exactly do our f.s.m's do, apart from threaten us. Mine been out with me, and half the stuff i did and said, he/she didn't have a clue about. I thought they were supposed to be telling us how to go on.
Or am I missing the point.
do you want fresh blood in, so you can learn them the new way.
Go on then, get on with it... I will then be "biting the dust"" COME ON MELISSA REPLY

Farmer clearly is not worried about that, it is completely obvious to the likes of me who she is.
May I suggest however that this sort of post is sent directly to the person you are addressing it to either via PM or email rather than posting it here. This is a subject you feel strongly about, please have patience and allow time for a response if you feel you 'need' to post if publicly. I would really recommend you direct this via the method suggested though.
Thanks.

Doggy I think we need to put things in perspective. Yes there are disgruntled advisors and you will hear more of this on a site such as this because that's what it is here for. By far the majority of the FSMs do a cracking job and work incredibly hard for you and the company. On the positive side, I use this site to get informed of your issues and suggestions. I genuinely use the information I receive here to get changes made for you. I really want every advisor to be happy and hungry to attend Hillarys leads because you feel happy and confident that you can generate a large order from it. I do not want a bullying culture I want a consultative approach where you feel your FSM has your best interest at heart and is supporting you as well as coaching you. I want every change we make to improve the service to you and the customer, otherwise it doesn't work. Be wary of the "grass is greener" statements from advisors who have left. I have looked into the other options for advisors and the alternatives require a large investment from you, you are generally tied in most cases to a supplier and reality is you make less money (but at greater risk). If you are really thinking of leaving, talk to me or your FSM to see what we can do to improve things for you. kr Mellisa I joined the forum this morning and have found this posting. PLEASE TELL ME WHO WROTE THIS? BY THE TONE IT MUST BE A MANAGEMENT HIGH-UP? WHAT PLANET ARE THEY ON? NEVER WAS ANYTHING FURTHER FROM MY EXPERIENCE OF WHAT IS GOING ON? THERE IS A BULLYING CULTURE? I HAVE HAD FACE -2-FACE THREATS THAT IF I DIDN'T CHANGE MY BOOKED HOLIDAY 2 MONTHS AhEAD, THAT I WILL HAVE 2 NEW AGENTS ON THE PATCH TRAINED UP WHEN I GOT BACK.and thats with 8 years experience at that time--9 YEARS NOW... HOW CAN I EVER BE HAPPY AND CONFIDENT IN THAT ENVIRONMENT, MELLISA WHOEVER U ARE??? This is my first day and I rant like this!! What will I be like by month-end? I had to send this as I was so riled at the stupid, unknowing comments from someone who is so insulated from the front end that they frankly live a lie. Dodgybracket

Welcome Dodgybracket, better late than never. How strange you seem to suffer the same woes as the rest of us.. I read the Mellisa posting you found and highlit below.
She is Mellisa Bunyan erstwhile Marketing Director who has shown at a few regional meetings. Has had a leg injury and been off, allegedly has been monitoring this site. Nothing heard from her in over a month. I read her posting again, and now it worries me. She seems to be happy stating that the site is essentially for malcontents and disgruntled folk " as that is what it is for.."" I cannot think of one thing she has done which has improved my lot since she joined. 3 for £99 might win pay rises in the boardroom but its at the expense of the most experienced people in the Company--us at the sharp end. Its been good to read her Dec5th posting now in view of happenings in the interim. I have a keener insight into the management mind now. Thanks Dodgybracket. You will have to go a bit to catch up with some members when it comes to ranting, but if its true and pertinent send it in...
