Sorry to mention this again but my delivery today of three wood blinds is unbelievable, two in wrong packaging(blinds busting out of box) and MITREs on valance pathetic. Had to sit for twenty minutes unpacking blinds and trying to camouflage dents / scratches with brown permanent marker. Mellisa, Is it not possible to send in digital pictures of packaging / damage to blinds that we are expected to fit . Then a correctly filed investigation report for that dept. head. to then implement corrective action to ensure it does not happen again. Most company's who care about there quality, Do these things. Or is Hillary's just a pile em high sell them cheap company now. Glen

I had a house with 30 odd wooden venetians.
In order to prevent nearly all of them being DOR'd because of chips etc. I had to go to Homebase's custom paint mixer with a sample of the wood.
They scanned it in and mixed a Dulux shade to exactly match. Cost me a fiver, but saved me a lot of hassle and Hillarys a lot of £££££££.
The latest problem with the wooden venetians seems to be a lack of the circlips that stop the square rod that alters the angle of the slats sliding out of the mechanism.
This causes the cord mechanism to become inoperative.
The wooden venetians are a problem, which is a pity, 'cos the guys at Washington are particularly helpful if you have an issue.
