I got home today to find a message on my answerphone telling me that my pm call had cancelled. Would it not be better if we got these messages on SAM  Preferably by text message... |

I find it strange that you had a cancellation and were'nt informed. I always get a call on the mobile to tell me when I've had a cancellation (one thing that I've always thought Hillarys got right)

I insisted to my FSM that my first point of contact from Hillarys would be my mobile. Since then I rarely get called on my home phone. My invoices however all have my home phone number because I will not give my mobile number to customers

Another good point - I've had customers ring up before 8 am and also after 10 at night before now !

I switch my mobile on at 9am and off at 9pm. Problem solved.

There is always one to break the rule.
Saturday morning for example, called at customer,only to be told by her, that she had rung and cancelled the wednesday before.
Of course diary maintenance didn't know anything.............

westlancs - sure that does solve it if they only have your mobile number - but I have my own phone line on ALL invoices !!!

to solve your phone problems buy a pay as you go register it as the only number with hillarys so the only number headoffice and your customers have is your mobile use it as incoming only and switch it on and off as required.
