Ive been told a new roller book is to be launched later this year.
So now on a new positive note, how about ideas on what we would like to see in the new book. eg. colours, styles, labelling, info on labels etc,. then we could pass it on to the powers that be, like West Yorks have done for the new vertical book.

At the Leeds meeting I spoke with Rose Haines who saifd that she was starting on a new roller book for launch in July. I mentioned some of the problems faced with rollers, like no braid on some fabrics, no braid on the back, the huge range of specifications, different barrel sizes etc etc etc and she asked for a list of the problems and suggestions. I e-mailed these to her a few days ago and whilst nothing may come of it, Rose was interested in the problems faced by Advisors in the field.
On a separate note, I pointed out to her that the black cardboard bottom to the current blue sample bags bleeds onto fabrics in the vertical and roller books. This seemed to be of some concern - has anybody spotted a way of overcoming this or do you do what I've done and cut a piece of three play to fit in its place.

I told my FSM about this "bleeding" problem 6 months ago.. Naturally nothing happened so I relined it with Hardboard... Pity you cant reline FSMs as well...with a brain...for example.. Nonails

I do not know why but I got the impression the New Roller Book was going to launched at this quarters team meetings, and were going to be handed out at the meetinng.
Probably FSM using it as aploy to get me to meeting.
The rest of the meeting I new from reading posts on this Forum.
In the new Roller Book I would like a reater selection of blinds that match Verticals.
On the other hand I do not do Conservertories anymore so why worry.
Not my problem

new roller book due september. they are looking to increase number of fabrics co-ordinating with verticals.
looks like more 'quality' fabrics introduced as well.
i think head office staff were surprised by the negative reaction agents had towards current book.
