With a lack of leads and some spare time today i decided to spruce up my vehicle .
Took off the Hillarys Magnetic signs and washed car and signs thoughly. Then waxed the body work and stood back to admire . Then i noticed on the door panels the outline of where the signs have been ! Polished some more - but no way will those rectangles dissappear!
So now my car has had its looks and value deminished .... will Hillary's put this right !
So everyone , check your car's paintwork - these signs can do more harm than good .
Welcome more comments on this issue.
Any one want 2 X Hillary's signs for £10 . lol thoght not!

GVM, No warning issued from hillarys with my magnetic signs ! So are they liable for paintwork repair?

GVM, No warning issued from hillarys with my magnetic signs ! So are they liable for paintwork repair? MM Interesting point. If you purchased them from Hillarys you may have a "fit for purpose" claim, but I somehow doubt it. The warning sticker I remember seeing was included in the bagging the signs came in, but this was over 3 years ago, so can't be 100% At the start of the AOE concept, mine were free issued with a pack including a fleece, polo, folder, pen and a cuddly toy ;D. I think we even got the measuring pole free, until they realised the cost implications - no sorry I mean self employement implications! So no contract between me & Hillarys
