I have a peugeot Expert Van, bought this year to replace a transit... You can claim all the tax back on a van, whereas only a percentage on a car.

I drive my car to sales -( Megane)

We put the magnetic strips on the van only. If Hillarys would send me another set for free, I would put them on the car too!!

I am considering Buying an Expert type van, but as my mileage is high I am concerned about running costs.
As I would be buying Secondhand I am getting Guesses from the Dealer on Fuel Consumtion.
Do anyone know the official figures and if using one what are you acheiving

Hi, I have had this van for around 3 years now, and think its great, have a solid bulk head with a hatch cut out to accomadate long head rails 3.4 metres, you can get 2 metres lying flat in back. When I get delivery everything goes straight into van, I do have some racking that seperates one side door from rear of van this I use for bag, spare parts etc. Most of the time it is fully loaded and around town I average 30 - 34 mpg not that good but I do not mind. Was thinking of selling mine and getting a newer one v-plate (any offers) . If I can help any more let me know. Glen

If you fancy a Ford Transit or Connect try BT Fleet Sales on 0208 2981072. I bought an Escort van 2,1/2 years ago. It was 3 years old, FSH, new service & MOT, 25k miles, £3,400+VAT. Probably selling Transit Connects by now. Collect from local BT site. Trade sale, no comeback

Expert looks Larger than Connect. but I will telephone BT as the other Alternitive is an Escort Van as I have Car so would know what to expect.
But I like the Idea of Side DOORS Also Could put Air Mattress in Expert.
Considered Transit but think they are too big.
