What a morning. Turn up at customers pleased that I have at least got the delivery in time for fitting. unwrap the blinds to find that I have someone elses headrails in the packing for this customer. Where her headrails are I've no idea. Next customer, only half the blinds have been delivered. Cant wait to see what else will go wrong today

Hows this for total stupidity.
You all know how we get those silly little screws to hold up Venetians and rollers and we need to use a number 8 1 and a quarter screw.
Well I ordered two boxes of them 2 weeks ago as I am very low on them. They came to day and guess what, yessss 2 screws in a jiffy bag the size of a house that probably cost more than the screws.
So now I have to reorder and another 2 weeks goes by so that will be one month to get some screws to me.
I just shake my head at times and wounder.

Looking back at past topics MOTTERS has tried to set up a "TRADING POST" for spares, yet nobody seems to have used it. Personally as we are all in this together i would happily post someone a required spare immediately and trust them to send me the postage afterwards. Yes we shouldnt have to pay for this ourselves but in the current climate i believe cost outweighs the aggro.
Even if Hillarys set up an easy option to order spares it means nothing if we dont get them for weeks. Its easy enough ordering its the receiving thats the problem.

Red Happened to me last year, only this time is was 1 screw. Obviosley a keying on error but who was the person that put ONE screw in a bag and then into a box and thought that was right ? You could not make it up. |
