Don't know how many of yopu have received the January promotion details yet, but does anyone understand it.
2 for £99 2 for £109 2 for £125 2 for £129 2 for £165 2 for £175
3 for £99 £109 £125 £149 £164 £188 £194 £199 £219 £248 £263 £299 £329 £349 £379 £389 and £419
then there is the 4 for AND the 5 for with 28 different prices which are even more complicated all on varing different fabrics some of which are not availiable on some of the offers.
If I can't figure it out how the hell am I supposed to explain it to a customer.
All a bit pointless really as I said I would never do another 3 for £99. So booked a flight to Australia today and leave on the 8th bach in February. Tried to let FSM know today but of course he is on holiday until 3rd jan.

 Hope everyone's had a good Christmas and best wishes for 2006. Thought I'd better have a look at the January promotion and the first thing I notice is differences between the leaflet 'Your promotional guide' and the card which goes with the samples:- e.g. Verticals: Stratford - Guide 50%, Card No discount Hereford - Guide 20%, Card 40% Oxford - Guide 20%, Card 40% Beckett - Guide 10%, Card 20% I wonder what's programmed into SAM!! Who checks this garbage before its sent out?

Take the Easy and Simple option , Discount Anything the Customer Wants To win The order ! Manually input and over ride SAM. Other wise its too complex! Good Grief! Thanks for that. Aries. Thats what I tend to do anyway - as you say it makes life much simpler and I'm sure Hillarys would prefer to have an order at virtually any price than have a customer buy elsewhere!

Get shot of these promtions, let the custumer choose a fabric and if its, too expensive try to come down or discount a bit instead of confusing us and the customers and making us look like we don't know what were doing. Plus, these people are not trading up. They are getting Hillaries round beause they think they can get something for nothing. Give us advisors a break here.
