Need some advice from you all.
Just fitted 215*139 roller in clouds, shape 1. Trying to operate blind, barrel turns but fabric stays where it is. Only way to get blind down is for 1 person to pull blind whilst another operates sidewinder. Fabric isn't catching or rubbing on anything. Told customer to leave blind down & let fabric stretch & settle.
Any ideas?

Some of the fabrics do this and I found that the plastic weight is nowhere near heavy enough. I have actually resorted to filling the weight with silver sand and gluing the end caps back in place with white mastic to seal it, worked a treat but I dont normally have this problem. Red

We shouldn't have to do anything to a shape 1 IF ONLY the bar was made heavier, i.e. metal not light plastic. This is a PROBLEM, that's being ignored by Hillarys.

Question please... ordered 3 rollers in a bay window (curved) no problem .. left hand one s/w left right hand one s/w right .. middle lux with pull attached on all blinds to match reverse roll on all .Get rollers back r/h and l/h no problem middle one pull put on outside of roller O DEAR I SAID we need to D O R this roller as the pull should be on the back of roller so you cannot see the little white housing as per the other two rollers. Get my roller back and go to fit it loked at it good the housing on the back as all the others, fit it in place cut the polythene from around the roll and unroll the blind , and to my surprise a letter in a bag drops onto the window , upon reading it , it is from roller dept saying that .. Quote..you asked for reverse roll blind which means we put pull on the front , but when you hang the blind reverse roll, it will be on the back as you requested..unquote.. Now i admit i am not the brightest bulb in the pack BUT i know when a blind is fitted r/roll the housing should be on the back....yes....

YOYO yes you are quite right and whoever wrote that note are very wrong. I myself fitted a "reverse roll" roller with luxury pull this last week and the white housing was still hidden at the back, it should make no difference to the rollers dept how we ask it to be made it still should not be seen from the front. Hope that puts your mind at rest.
