All shape 1 rollers seem to come with horizontal creasing.
This is caused by the tape that comes wrapped around the blind, pushing the square bottom batton against the round barrel.
Its really bad on blackout blinds.
Surely it would be better to take the batton out before the blind is taped? I mentioned this to someone at Hillarys once and they said that was'ent possible and the tape should'ent be that tight to cause creasing. But it always is, and they never see the blind after it leaves the factory. I just think it creates a bad first impression of the blind when the customer sees it like that.
I always tell my customers that the creasing will drop out, and have only been called back once to do a DOR, so I quess it does.
What do you guys tell your customers about this creasing, or is there a way to get it out of the blind, that I don't know about?

I've had it on blackout blinds. As you, told customer will drop out. Only one customer has come back to me ( was over 2m which seem to be worse). DORed it and new one was as creased but they never came back a 2nd time. They were just going to get married so don't know if creases dropped out or they had better things to think about.
Support did say have had problems before with blackouts and one advisor DORed 3 times then got his wife to iron it ;D

I ALSO HAVE THE PROBLEM WITH SHAPE 1 ROLLERS AND TELL THE CUSTOMER IT WILL DROP OUT, WHICH IT USUALLY DOES. IF ANYONE HASNT SPOTTED THIS THEN THEY CANT BE LOOKING AS IT IS CREASING AT INTERVALS OF APPROX THE CICUMFERANCE OF THE BARREL UP THE CENTRE OF THE MATERIAL ON NARROW WIDTHS, OR IN THE 2 PLACES WHERE THE PLASTIC IS TAPED ON WIDER BLINDS.

(spooner it is rude to type in capitals, its like shouting.)
You are right, if you have not seen the creases you have not looked. On a blackout blind they are far worse and sometimes are so bad that they will never drop out.

That creasing caused by the sleeve wrapped round, normally drops out. What is worse is the impression on the fabric made by the control chain.

I got my blackout blind creases (caused by the control chain) out really successfully by a) spraying the place with water from the iron then b) steaming the place several times with steam from the iron from about 1 inch away. Repeat till mark is gocharmorks like a charm.
