Just got a nice little sale of Tundra Whites,(£600), carefully checked the suspended sizes, and luckily no problem. Got back home and tried to SAM the order, but it wouldn't let me! Phoned in, to be told ALL tundra white in ALL widths and ALL sizes has not been available for "several days"!! Wish they'd told me!! What a waste of time.............(MINE!!)  PS The reason is because they are turning green after a while!!! I can see a few service calls/refunds coming our way!! |

Don't understand why some advisors don't use SAM when they're with the customer but wait till they get home to input the details. Seems like twice the work to me and you would have found out that Tundra White was not available when with the customer too. I can feel the same old argument re SAM coming on now!!  Karen |

do you remember the assurances ref quality etc. given by wood vens management?

Karen Here is one good reason........ having just got the stock availabilty report ( today 5.20pm), and seeing that Tundra White is still showing as available in the sizes I wanted..... I again rang service support...and was told this time that IT IS available! Now....I have already contacted the customer and said sorry...no can do.... and promised her a refund. I am now going to tell her...oops...sorry IT IS available after all.  SAM STILL won't let me put it through, so I have been told to send a paper order.  I do usually use SAM in the customers houses (although have abandoned the printer as useless 90% of the time). On this occasion I would have lost a big order if I had trusted SAM. Can't win!!!!  |

Understand we are changing suppliers for wood vens soon. They are apparently from China so I suspect our suppliers of shutters may be involved. Tundra white are available in 35mm only as 25 & 50 have been discontinued for some time. Certain sizes also have a supply problem too in this colour so check your stock list update, I get mine by email from Simon Dalgetty.
