Does it put people off having the google ads on this site ?
Google match them up to the text on the site and therefore we get ads for competitors !
They not under my control but it is possible for me to get rid of them for about £4 a month.
So, my question is- Shall I get rid of the ads ?

Just thought i would have a peek before going of to bedie byes and saw an ad for web blinds offering 20% off if ordered over bank holiday weekend. Great Heh!!!!!

maybe it will be a good idea not to get peoples back up by having the ads on here then !
Once we have a few more members here and the posting livens up then I'll shell out and get rid of them.

How about you put a 'donate' link up for people to donate small amounts to the cost of hosting the site. I have a few resources available to improve it for you all. You have a shout/chat box, VON can be added so you can all talk to each other while you are on here, no I mean, actually hear each others voices (would be very usefull to be able to chat to each other for free without sharing phone numbers). I am sure most people could spare a couple of quid a year and that would pay for the site, communication and any other expansions you see fit in the future.
Just a thought for you to think about.

I thought the adds were part of your entreprenural Web Activities.
I know someone who run an anti something somthing site and does very well from all the affilliate marketing deals he links into.
Just wish i could think of an idea.
