Anyone else got a snotty mailer from HQ chasing up outstanding payments. I have got some going back 18 months marked as outstanding. Funny thing is I have been paid on them!
I am now having to go back through sheaves of greens to find out whats happened.
I wish they were as on the ball paying me commission they owe.

I think everybody got this mailer. The thing is we have to go through all our paperwork to sort out all the stupid mistake SAM is doing. I have four orders I took on Friday still on hold on my SAM. I have loads of orders I have not been paid commission on or only paid part commission. God only knows what else. I bet they ask me next week where deposits for orders placed by credit cards through SAM have gone to. I still have an order I did in November, paid cash but I had no invoice. I have asked twice for the invoice and still have not had it. Its all chasing your own tail now due to this crazy system. Also, what is wrong with paying cash payments via your own credit card or personal cheque. I know some get a cash back on payments made this way and so what, Hillary's still get their money as if the customer had paid it. Hillary's probably do have to pay a 3% commission rate on money paid via cards but they would still have to pay this if the customer paid by card, which is what they want anyway isn't it. They want me to pay via the little pay-point card at my local post office. I am not prepared to wait up to 45 mins each time at the post office because all the pensioners are there collecting the weekly pension. I dont have the card now anyway. I would post this question on the main official site but I have noticed many questions go unanswered so not much point. Plus I dont think any one at H/O knows whats happening anymore. Wasn't SAMMY supposed to stream line things and create less paper work and admin?. I bet H/O staff would tell you differently. SAMMY is a great little tool and I was well against it at first, I have warmed to it but it is far removed from the perfect tool for all it is meant to do. Its all in a mess. Were all doomed, doomed I tell you. Red

I've had the same.It seems like credit control are getting their arses kicked. Why should we go back 3 months never mind 18 months to check on invoices THEY have lost their copies! Basically they are questioning our integrity because of their incompetence!

I haven't received anything yet. I don't mind sorting out their account queries but if I've done my paperwork right they should pay me for my trouble. I would post this question on the main official site but I have noticed many questions go unanswered so not much point. Plus I dont think any one at H/O knows whats happening anymore. Red I think we should post all these things on their site, if there is no response it shows the lack of communication.

Can we charge them a £20 fine for each mistake/misplaced we have to sort for them! Works both ways.

How many advisor's are actually sitting on a pile of cheques, and deliberately or otherwise delaying their commission?
Not many I'll wager.
The more likely reason for aged debt, will rest firmly on Hillarys shoulders. As in outstanding DOR's, parts missing, blinds missing, and invoices missing.
"In order to tackle this problem a number of initiatives should be put in place."
Manufacturing staff, check that the blind and all the parts necessary for the successful fitting of said blind are in the box and working properly. We can call this "Double check fortnight" and it will speed up payments.
Dispatch staff will communicate effectively with other departments in the company. They will endeavor to make sure ALL blinds on a particular order are on the right van and delivered to the correct advisor. Making extra special efforts to fulfill promised courier deliveries at promised times, to ensure swift remedy of mistakes. We can call this "extra effort fortnight" and it will speed up payments.
Accounts staff produce one coherent (no minus amounts) invoice per order, to arrive with the blinds to be fitted. We can call this "prompt and legible fortnight" and it will speed up payment.
The list goes on.
"it would help if you could make these outstanding payments as soon as possible."
May I suggest the following dialogue, to fulfill the above request.
"Dear Mrs Smith (insert your own customer name here) please can you pay for your vertical (insert your own blind type here) blinds in full now. I know the headrails ( insert your own missing components) have been lost for four weeks( insert your own time period) and you have not actually got the benefit of the blinds yet, but Hillarys do not like debts to be over 30 days."
This will produce a positive and helpful response.
