I'm in need of a quick answer for a customer re Metallic Mink aluminium venetians (I have a sizeable order in the balance). Having not seen one in this colour before now I can't answer the obvious question posed - What is the co-ordinating colour of the headrail supplied? If you have any idea PLEASE post a reply as soon as you can. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replys.
What is the difference between a matching headrail colour and a co-ordinating one then if a metallic mink co-ordinating headrail is metallic mink!?

Are you sure you are not getting mixed up with matching headrail and co-ordinating cords and ladders. You can have a matching headrail in metalic mink but the cords would come in a co-ordinating colour as they could not be in matalic mink. Red

Red Some of the venetians say the headrails match (m)...some say co-ordinate (c) It's on the sticker on the back of the samples

I'm not getting mixed up re matching headrail and co-ordinating cords and ladders! - as Joy says some of the venetians have (m) and some have (c)
AND THEREFORE if a metallic mink blind (which has a 'c' indicating a co-ordinating headrail) has a metallic mink colour headrail then what is the difference between matching and co-ordinating?
Sorry to labour what must seem a small point to you but it would help me (and possibly others) to know for sure!
Please help!

Dennis To tell you the truth Dennis, In 10 years I have never given it any thought and no one has ever asked me. I would say ring service support and ask them but not a good idea. You would not get anywhere. Perhaps its just another example of the push me pull you ethos that exists within Hillary's and means the same thing. Maybe someone else can clarify it but it all sounds too complex if you go in to it that much. If the customer is that choosy anyway, then in my experience it may well be best left alone. Red

Matching means exactly that, coordinating means as close as the original as possible. i.e White & polar : white has a gloss finish & top & base headrail matching, polar also has gloss finish but slats are a matt finish.
