I have some great stories about what has happened to me whilst dealing with Hillary's Customers, and I guess the rest of you do as well, so here is a thread to post those moments for their place in history and for the amusement and disbelief of others.
Keep it as factual as possible please an no wind-ups as that would be silly.

So heres my first one
Not for the first time I must say, but today, had a customer looking through the verticals samples book, and says to me in earshot of her partner and her friend, that ones a bit opaque, I replied thats the fabric range divider, to say she had the pee taken out of her by her partner and friend would be an understatement. ;D

Next one,
Was fitting second lot of 4 for £129 blinds in a house upstairs (yes I know only one offer per household but a sale is a sale..), cash customer, young couple she has two kids not by him, anyhow, friendly etc. So there I am, first set of blinds paid for cash, deposit paid cash for second lot that I'm fitting, when this almighty domestic kicks off downstairs, so I keep on fitting as I'm almost finished, after a while he storms upstairs, gets his bag and packs all his things into it, and storms out, only to be banging on the front door a few minutes later demanding his neck curb chain and the charger for his phone, finally leaves slamming the door.
Long and the short of it, he was paying for the blinds, but has walked out on her for real (I have been back to check) balance of the order not paid and is now in debt recovery.. . . . .
Couldn't make it up if I tried.

Karen ;D Hello sorry Ive been on holiday needed some sun  I saw the wolves in disguise attacked but worry not its always the anons that do that and you gave as good as you got :oI didn't go to my roadshow as i was away but from what I'm told it wasn't worth the time it would have cost me and as i busy glad i didn't go. As to the people who accuse others of brownnoseing ...its now called networking and if you want your business to prosper getting yourself noticed is very worthwhile so if that makes me a brown nose great its not done me any harm  |
