Fed up with name changes

Just so people know, if found that posts are done in other members names it could result in either a suspended or banned account.

One member 'fsm' has been banned after firstly faking to be an fsm and winding people up and then posting under another members name saying they were quiting.


Enough is now enough.

Only my opinion but the number of members using this forum has never been the same since approx 6 weeks ago this crazy name changing started. Yes it was a bit of fun but as i wrote at the time it was a big turn off for those of us who use this forum for more important issues, just wasnt the right place for it.
At that time i was daily very active on here but not now. I think this is only my third message since then.
I believe it has increased the negative views towards this forum from Hillarys especially some of the more insulting personal remarks made my a few at certain people. The hard work my all the staff in setting up and running this forum should not be forgotten. I just wander how much life is left in the old dog especially with the Hillarys site approaching?

Yes, where have those posts gone ? Over zealous moderating perhaps, although I don't recall anything said that would require moderating. Checking back, it looks as if the entire thread titled 'fsm' has been deleted - much of it for good reason but I would have thought that the last few posts, including the exchange between dolly and myself, were both positive and constructive.

What is the future of this forum?
What do WE want from it?

People are saying they're fed with name changes, they want a serious forum, but don't bother posting. I tried a positive thread, responses were a big fat zero.
Ross K has met with various advisors on several occasions, but seems to be doing his best to discredit this forum, no doubt with the backing, or perhaps a mandate, from John Risman. Hillarys could have embraced this forum. If they'd actively participated from the beginning, most, if not all, of the personal attacks and comments would have been avoided, but instead they chose the childish way - "unless it's my ball and my rules, I'm not playing", accompanied by veiled threats to advisors of shut up or lose your leads.

I fear that without Hillarys participation, this forum is not going to achieve any of the great things it set out to achieve, and the Hillarys controlled forum will be no more than a New Labour spin machine with their very own version of Ali Campbell.

I agree that there has been a missed opportunity but I also think that when the GODS start the new site there will be more than enough meat to chew on. They cant now say ITS ONLY YOU.. I reckon it will be very interesting to say the least. and will hopefully lead to more actual input from others who dont post on a regular basis.

I don’t post very much, but I do log on daily to see what’s happening, and yes
many of the subjects brought up I do have an opinion on. But I don’t post ,
because most of the time somebody as already said what I would have said anyway, so why repeat. But there is one thread, which I found strange, that is the one
from FSM, I still can’t make my mind up. If it was a wind up or it was actually
a FSM with pmt or something, maybe it’s a case of naming and shaming the person
who posted it as warning to anybody else thinking of doing the same. Or is it
another thing to put on the back burner like most things.
As for this forum I think most people thought it to be one way to have
one voice, but for what I ask. Hillary’s take no notice what so ever, so
we need to make them listen, how I hear you say, well maybe we
could have one subject at a time ie lets say £20 dors fine. We would first
have opinions of what people think ,then depending what the out come is,
good or bad , if some sort of action is needed to be taken. A vote is taken as
to what, but for an action to be implemented, it would need a minimum number of votes, oh yes once a subject goes into action stage, no other subject is started
until the actioned subject is closed.

Reason why i dont post as often, we all repeat the same thing time an time again.

The name changing episode, and more recently, the fake f.s.m.

also found, that remarks between us were getting a bit too insulting.

thought we were supossed to be knocking Hillarys and not us.

It isnt about who is the best salesman, who does the most turnover, etc,.
Its about highlighting the problems we all have, and taking it to the fore.

Now due to what appears to be Hillarys arrogance, nothing is getting done about it, yet,. so we all get slightly drunk off and turn on ourselves.

talking to other lads near to me, this is the reason they dont post as well.

With regards to keeping your identity, all well and good, but as i have said before, I myself feel that if the constructive critisism we all pass on, cant be taken the correct way, then we shouldn't be working within such an organisation should we. I have no problem with giving my identity.
If Hillarys want to take away my leads, because of what i say, thats up to them.
I wouldn't starve.


I am sure Hillarys are aware, we could all jump ship, and work either for ourselves or any other blind company going.

Now I know we are all dispensable, but why would an organisation get rid of its best men/women.

from where I am standing it appears they struggle to find good men/women anyway.

The comments we were passing,were highlighting the problems, and I know if i were top man in an organisation i was running, i would want to know about it.

Trouble is, is it now all just about the ruthless side of this business?,
ie, venture capitalists are not bothered wether it takes us mere advisors, 10 calls @3 for 99, or 1 call to make £1k. we are just pawns in their game of making the numbers add up.

Ask anyone who has ever been involved with these people.

I have seen venture capitalists, or asset strippers, call them what you like, absolutely decimate the tool making companies of several Sheffield firms, to make their millions.
All the workers in those factories were not given a second thought.

Now i am not saying Hillarys are quite as intense as that, but the principles are still the same.

So lets see what this new site is all about, but will anyone post, 'cos we will all have to be known then..

Filo....it was definitely 'one of us' trying to stir up bad feeling by impersonating an fsm and making outrageous comments. Very juvenile, very divisive, and won't happen again because Motters has identified and barred the culprit (though I notice that a 'new' member has signed on with a very similar pseudonym so, if he's back with us, that's fine but please now play by the rules of common decency).
