Hi,
Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to both sessions by either attending in person or through this forum.
The notes from each session have now been drawn up and these will be distributed to the attendees first, who can then share them with you all. The reason for the delay is that we didn't want the Reading session to influence Otley.
The next step is for Rose Haines and I to present your views and feedback to the Board. This is taking place this Tuesday afternoon. Once this is concluded we shall share with you our intentions along with timings where appropriate.
I know that the process may be taking too long for many, but I can assure you that it is very high up on our agenda's, but due to the number of people involved the process will take time.
Regards

Yes dorblindfitter we could always leave, but some of us have put a large part of our lives into hillarys, some of us remember when hillarys was the M+S of window blinds and we were well respected. NOW we are called "cowboys" However I personally am too old to find other employment and even if I wasnt there are very few jobs in this neck of the woods. So why dont we try to persuade the suits that this is the way to go and not lower ourselves even further, all we seem to do on this forum is backbite and snap at each other. The suits must be overjoyed as once again they are managing to "divide and conquer"us

Many have left Hillarys and are doing extremely well. My old mate Nonails got raked over by a ****wipe FSM ( since fired!) and told them to upshove job ****wards and now sells and fits blinds working 60% of the hours he put in with Hillarys and takes home more than twice the money. If you want the details pm me---if not.....stew in the Hillarys-induced poverty that you seem to be happy with !!! Bear
