Just back from the brainstorming session. Interesting to see the positive noises from management up to our MD John Riseman who has a very positive attitude to ensuring our frustrations are addressed. Things will not take place overnight, however some things are already underway & changes in place now. Over the next week the members of the management team will be collating the views all advisors have expressed as concerns & thoughts on positive progression that will aid all sides to get back to doing what we do best- sell & fit good quality blinds & make some money. Some concepts will take time to materialise, remember Rome wasn't built in a day, but rest assured only good can & will come from these meetings. This is a step in the right direction for all of us & we will be having more meetings like these in due course to ensure progression is maintained. Please don't push us for chapter & verse as collation of two very intense sessions will take a little time to collate but you will get details individually through normal Hillarys communication as things are ratified & put into action. If you think I have been brainwashed for the sceptics, I have had 14 years experience working with Hillarys & have put up & had steaming sessions with management over my frustrations in recent times like most of us, but this forum has been a turning point & the attitude from HO is very much now we have to listen, this is no longer a one way street! As my Football team manager says to us fans every week, Keep the faith.
