Whos idea was it to close down the retail shops??? What an utter, utter stupid idea! I would love to see the sales figures now this idiot action has been taken. So come on, whoever sanctioned the idea of closing the Hillarys shops own up because that was the mother of all mismeasures!!

Since Hillarys have closed the Chesterfield shop, diary maintenance is a shambles, lead quality & numbers have plummeted & as for back up service! Dont ask I would love to know the actual figures before & after the closures, but I think that will be kept quiet. Good work faceless suits... NOT!

The reason behind this apparently is that if you have rent at £20,000 a year X 25 shops it is dead money when you consider that customers want to choose at home. The problem for me is that a few years ago before CLG each shop got to know Advisor's better. We could have extra leads put our way by the FSM's instruction to help fill our diary if we were struggling or if another adviser was performing badly. Alas, whether you are very good or appallingly bad at your job you can have leads when they are about. Loss of business for Hillarys is rampant now because of this. Think about it ... You convert at say 75% at £300 per order x say 15 orders from 20 = £4500 t/o. Bad performance Adviser converts 25% at £160 per order = 5 orders = £800. Hillarys lose £3700 potential business. Hillarys think that making the appointment with in 24 hours as more important than making money with Advisor's that are effective. Total madness!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some very valid points raised here. Could you please forward this suggestion to Melissa or post it in her topic. It would be good to see some sort of performance rating on the actual Diary itself, this does raise one issue though. What if an Advisor has a particularly bad month due to reasons outside of their control? Still, a very usefull idea to mull over and I feel it should be addressed to someone who can actually get this idea talked about between the people who can instigate changes.
I am too humble an employee to be able to help with it but wanted to praise you for the positive idea and post.
If there are any CLC (Customer Leads Centre) questions I can help with, feel free to PM me.
Thanks.

Personally my workload has suffered since diary maintenence was taken from the Chesterfield shop. Have any other advisors had similar experience?

We all have bad spells ... I've had a few ... but some Advisers are continually bad performers. These are very easy to spot but alas our FSM's are currently powerless to do anything positive about it.
