We've recently sent a postcard to potential customers in the London area advertising a 4 for £99 promotion on Vertical blinds.
These potential customers have never bought from us before but have requested an At Home magazine in the past.

We want this postcard to generate as many calls and leads as possible during September and it's already proving to be a success.
Take this opportunity to encourage customers who have responded to trade up to higher value blinds. However, if they are only
interested in buying 4 Verticals for £99 please offer them the Clouds fabric. Terms and conditions do apply to this offer, they are:

* Valid until 30 September
* Vertical blinds in Clouds up to 2m wide
* 127mm louvres only
* On a silver headrail only
* Not available on curved headrails

I think they are doing the 4 for £99 to give the staff at Nottingham something to make while its quiet..

The trouble is..the advisors make nothing out of it, especially with petrol the price it is...

And, will these customers ever buy another blind from Hillarys if they can get them for £25 at the moment?


The space filled in your diary with a 4 for 99 customer could have been used for a REAL customer!

We don't have 4 for £99 down here ,thank god,I feel really sorry for any area that does have this.what awaste of time and energy.Someone could concievable have their conservatory sides done for about £150,then you get asked back to qoute for their roof,not a chance.You get invited back to qoute for 2 blinds in their bedrooms,not a chance.Hillarys must realize,surely,that this customer will be dead to them if they have taken the 4 for £99.Extremely short sighted
